I have always been a fan of 2D animation over CGI. I am also excited to hear that this version will have more humor and a lighter feel.

Wow that is exciting news for TMNT. 
I prefer 2D animation but the 2012 TMNT show was awesome. s much as I love the original, in terms of story, characters and action the 2012 show is vastly superior and I would recommend it to any fans of the original cartoon.

Yes, I really enjoy the 2012 version as well. It is a nice blend of classic references and new ideas. I have just never been as big of a fan of the CGI. I am excited to see our half shell heroes in animation form!
