They may put some glow in the dark stickers on that cardboard if we’re lucky.

Brian said it is based off how it appeared in the cartoon. We covered this question before about how and what Ultimates! will match. If you want a perfect replica of the model sheet - this is NOT it. They’re creating a version of it based on its general cartoon’s appearance. You’ve got valid points on the specific details you want seen but it will never match your expectations simply because that is not what they’re making. It’s their interpretation of it

Just watched the video and I posted a question for Bryan. Since you have a direct line to him I wonder if you could forward my question Sebastiaan?
“I have a question for Brain. He mentions at the end that everyone should have a local vendor to buy from, which is great. I ordered wave 1 here in China and my vendor had to wait for the figures to be shipped to the USA and then back to China since they can’t order enough figures to satisfy Super7’s minumum requirement to receive direct from the factory. They would need to order 1500 or more but they have pre orders of under 100. As a result I got my figures at the end of November when they were ready and could have been posted to me locally in August. I can’t see any sense for this arbitrary minimum amount for the vendor, just let them receive their preorded amount of figures from the factory. It’s a huge waste of time and money and not partucularly environmentally friendly. They will never get 1500 orders, Thundercats isn’t popular enough here.”

I’d recommend sending your question directly to their customer care department. This deals more with logistics and shipping. Our line of communication is more about the product itself; and while your concerns are valid, I would suggest an e-mail to them instead. I may be able to work something into a Q&A but again it will be more generic and perhaps not as direct. It will also take a while until we chat again and you may get an answer sooner from S7 direct.

I’ll be sure to message them, but this was directed at him since he mentioned something that directly tied into it in the video. I’ve also learned to deal the the most senior persion you can and not their minions if at all possible. I know the name of the Super7 rep for China but i doubt he has enough clout to change their order policy.
Maybe you could purchase the Thundertank from that Chinese shop “Polyphony”. ;):laugh
Oddly enough, a few years back I was speaking to the owner of a UK toy shop who wanted to be the official UK supplier of MOTU Classics but Mattel said for them to do that he would have to order near 5000 of each figure.

The cartoon show is based on the model sheet, that is what it was created for in the first place, a guide for the animation and design between the different animation studios to coincide. What Super7 has done is a reinterpretation, a custom design, not what we saw in the animated cartoon. Soon you will have better photos so you can compare with the screen. Disappointing for me.
Yes I can see in your comments you are disappointed. I’m sorry your expectations weren’t met. We may not agree on the matter and that’s ok. I believe the reasons for S7’s “interpretations” as you put it has been addressed already so I won’t repeat it. Still it’s always good to hear fans opinions and learn more. I personally have never even seen the the modelsheets until recently. Damn they do look good right? Precision and perfection in an ideal world. I bet if they did a CGI cartoon it would look that good!

It is. Although he didn’t try to say they weren’t the official vendor. He said they didn’t have their figures yet and it was impossible that he bought the figures from them and they had to be knock offs etc. Yet the guy proved he did buy them from the shop.
Wait. They’re not the official vendor? How is it that Super7 is allowing Polyphony to take preorders of Snake Mountain for Asia region back then? Almost want to order there but the shipping is still too heavy a price.
Ah OK gotcha. I just spoke to them snd they said they get there order direct, so no waiting 3 months for a roundabout trip on a boat. Going to try and cancel my pre orders and switch to them. It’s frustrating though as I’m sure last I checked all they had for Thundercats was reactions, now they have all waves listed.
