I do not particularly care for the designs. All of the characters look like anthropomorphized animals. I prefer the ThunderCats to look more humanoid and the Mutants to look more animalistic. Lion-O also looks too old and Cheetara looks too sexualized for my taste.
Not my taste either. They look a bit horrific and creepy.
No offence to the artist but these designs are not to my taste. They seem so characterless.:eek:
I too think that these new designs are terrible. Lion-o is not supposed to look intimidating like he does here. Cheetara definitely has too much sex appeal; I can’t see her having any grace like in the cartoon.
Cant say I disagree with any of you on the lack of appeal, but I am always interested in peoples interpretations of our favorite characters.
I want to correct myself. The more I think about it, having them more animalistic might work better for a live action movie.
If you wanna change it up you gotta “Keep” something methinks. That more animal look I think might work better if the colors were closer or something. Though I am impressed Lion-o don’t look like Simba. That would be tough to avoid.
I agree. I think Lion-O’s mane should be a bit more lionish instead of looking like Zakk Wylde.
