So seeing its just less then a week away how are people going to celebrate the new cartoon? Anyone having a party to go with it? Or is that too dorky?
I will luckily be at my mothers who has cable else I’d have to wait to watch it online u_u. BUT seeing I’m at my moms and she loves to cook, I’m having some friends over to watch the old Thundercats episodes and then bring in the new! On the menu..
Snarfs piggie’s in blankets (Hotdogs, cheese, wrapped in bisquet!)
Mutant Nacho mash (MEGA NACHOS overloaded with everything)
Candy Fruit Cookies (Sugarcookies with looots of sugar and icing)
Super Fuel Slurpee ( Ice, Mt. Dew, and Lime)
Haha dorky I know but its a night to remember! Everyone attending has to have a Thundercats shirt on. Also might play some Thundercats trivia (Might steal some questions from the thread on this board too!)
Unsurprisingly, we won’t be getting Thundercats up here in Canada, so most likely end up waiting for it to go up on the net. No party or anything…just uninterrupted viewing :D.
I feel bad for everyone who has to watch it streaming or elsewhere, that stinks! And ice cream isnt bad! Haha, guess when you’ve been waiting this long for a re release or anything from the cartoon you get a lil crazy with the planning XD
I’ll be lucky if I get to watch it live, I’ll probably end up having to preset my video recorder. Got a family member in the hospital which is taking up a lot of my free time currently and she kinda takes priority.
I won’t be having a party. Not enough people I know that want to watch AND have cable. BUT I’m kinda glad I’m not. I think I’d like to watch it without all the distractions of people all around me. The premiere will have my undivided attention.
I have a friend who feels that way about watching basketball games. He’d rather watch them alone than invite people over to watch with him. I would agree, I’d rather give the show my full concentration. People over would mean distraction.
Ocelli and I would love to get together with some local friends to watch the premiere, but unfortunately I have to work that night (evening shifts suck!) But it’ll be on the DVR when I get home, so I’ll curl up with a bowl of popcorn and watch it then, along with the premieres of G4’s Iron Man and Wolverine animes, which will also be debuting that night. And in preparation I’ll be watching the movies I posted about earlier, and listening to Dio all day, as I think that’s perfect kind of music to listen to in anticipation of a show like this.
