New Article and photos from the Thundercats studio. Interview isn’t really much that is new, but I found the photos to be pretty cool (production sheets for Claudus for example and new background images). The backgrounds in particular are just gorgeous.

And they’re right on the nostalgia bit, recently I’ve been captivated by how things are being set up. How an epic story is apparently being put together. But after just watching the first episode of the original in Spanish, after not watching the series in that language since it’s original run in Toonami, nostalgia has gotten to me. X3

I wish you could see some of those smaller images in the background better tho. I’d like to know who the dude with the wings is on #7. That’s not Mumm-Ra, but seems to have similar elements to him.

Am I the onlyone who saw pictures of the Tower Of Omens and Plun Darr?
Both look very much like the old show but in a different setting.
Where did you see those? I don’t see anything like that.
Now that you mention it I do see something that looks similar to the Tower of Omens in a pic, but it looks like it’s embedded in the side of a wall for some reason. I don’t see Plunn-dar though.
Plun Darr is below the tower of omens. Middle Pic of the last row It looks like it to me. It’s small offcourse.
