Anyway to prevent it or remove?
Pumayra is getting kinda spotty and her necklace is turning a funny color.
Well, to prevent, keep them in open air. I found that even when in a zip-lock sealed bag and in a box, the plastic/resin material begins to release the nature oils. I placed them on my back porch when we had some cooler weather and aired them out.
If yours are releasing any oil, I would air them out first, before trying to wipe them with anything. I faster way too, is to place them in your freezer.

It would be good for removal, since it works well on sticky stuff.
