Sorry if this is the wrong place for this…but would anyone happen to know if a Thundercats RPG was ever made, official or otherwise?

not the exact same thing you’re talking about but could easily see the new TC series made into a Classic Japanese-style videogame RPG. the show already has the same basis as the old school Final Fantasy.
Hero with a legendary sword, questing with a crew of other heroes he’s gathered along the way each with a different weapon/skill. going after gems/stones that could help defeat the bad guy who destroyed/took over his kingdom and can also turn into a giant, winged final boss type.
Final Fantasy: Thundercats anyone? :eek::D:thumbsup:

I agree, that sounds like an AWESOME game. I always loved the old school FF games. (Kefka is best boss in my book!) So to have a Thundercats game similar to that would be epic!
While I was looking for something more along the lines of a Tabletop RPG, I assume one of you would’ve mentioned one if such a thing actually existed. Also, while I’m not much into video games…that DOES sound pretty cool. 
No ones going to but the effort into a story heavy RPG, that would require a beginning, middle, and end. The show has not given them all and game makers don’t want to deal with a licensed game if the genre itself requires more meat.
In this situation I see more of a stringy action game with platforming elements. That way they can give objectives the show has already given and then end it when they run out of them with a crummy, non-cannon, cop-out.
