I believe a while back we thought about possible domain names that we could use for our Thundercats podcast and so I have decided to acquire the domains www.thundercast.net and www.thundercast.org Perhaps once the project gets started we could add it to both the main site and also have the pdcast with its own link. I beleive it is a good idea and it gives TCL more exposure and to spread the word about Thundercats even further. I have also acquired for quite some time the domain www.thundercatsonline.com, it is a good domain that we could use in the future in case we need one. With the podcast it would essentially be great if all the existing Thundercats websites or the most active ones to be involved as well which could essentially be made the Offical Thundercats Podcast, now wouldnt that be awesome

Great work, MannyC - I’m looking forward to seeing the podcast project get back underway, I think we need to start thinking about this as a matter of some urgency! The end of February is a lot nearer than we all realise (myself included)! :yikes:

I cant agree with you more…the end of February is coming soon, this should be a project we should get underway at least the first episode. My thoughts are that we could get as many Thundercats sites involved to create more variety

My goodness Kyle that is beyond what I envisioned but I think that it would be THE perfect way to set up the pocast main page. Let’s get this project strated, Im already very excited about it if we’re going for something like this

I dont think we need a consensus on this one however I’d like to know evryone’s thoughts on the podcast having its own site and having a spot on TCL as well. I know making such a sudden decision of purchasing 2 domains could be perceived as a spur of the moment type of thing but I did think that it would be for the best of the website and since it is such a good domain I think leaving it for later could potentially leave us with no domain. I did check for the .com version but it has been taken so i purchased the next best 2 choices. I think the .net version would work great but both can be used as well, perhaps one would be a redirect or something like that.
I think it’s an excellent idea Manny and shouldn’t be too hard to post up the same content here and at say, www.thundercast.org
Surely it would only mean linking the www.thundercast.org domain name to the Thundercast folder on the same webspace as the main site. I believe I’ve already opened a folder for Thundercast at: www.thundercatslair.org/thundercast
Well arent we all on the same page…I cant get the first episode started already. To think that we would be the first ones with a Thundercats podcast is awesome. Hey who knows maybe Apple would incorpoate it into their podcast list in iStore. Now wouldnt that be cool.
Actually, we can do that ourselves. Anyone can list podcasts on the iTunes store, which is what we are going to do! 
Wow I did not know that, Apple just lets you do that without their consent. In any case I would even consider it the Official Thundercats Podcast since there are none out there and we would be the first. Then again wouldnt “official” mean that its backed by WB in which any case then we wouldnt be able to call it official. It could be an idea we can pitch to WB but I guess we’ll get there when we cros the bridge.Needless to say Im excited and cant wait to get the 1st episode started
