I bet we won’t get a new season until at least the beginning of 2013 or next summer.
Yeah, I’m not expecting anything until mid-late 2013, but I’m willing to wait.
When I herd this news, i was shrieking like the fan girl i am about show then my dog started howl XD.
I was too! My mom freaked out.
I still couldn’t believe this happen. I still had faith in the show. I just thought we were not going to here anything for a longtime or at all. I wonder if was because all the support the show was getting from fans.
I think the more they wait, the more they’ll get harassed by fans, so they’ll have to release something sometime. I think since it’s been this long without word, CN hasn’t just given up and are debating its future.
And was that even Mike talking in the video? If it wasn’t then I’m betting the Tweet came from a different part of the panel or something.
We still need to keep the pressure going to show CN we want it really bad!!!

Anyway, this confirms what I’ve suspected all along. The turnaround time on some of these shows is so long that you can sometimes go for over a whole year between seasons. I think Venture Bros. have gone for almost two years now between seasons (though granted it’s really Jackson Publick and Doc Hammer doing all the work themselves. But I think the animation’s done in Korea.) So CN’s not having it on their upfronts like I thought, didn’t really mean anything.
I think it’s a little disappointing, though, that it took a direct question from a fan to prompt CN for a response rather than voluntarily give the info. But if a new season is about a year away, I guess maybe they were primarily concerned with the shows that were coming out in the immediate future. Maybe next Comic-Con.
But this is still good news. Okay, back to Ultima VII!
I’m glad to hear some slightly better news that is a statement rather than a question.
BTW, Ultima VII = one of my favorite all-time games, followed closely by Ultima IV. Had to tinker quite a bit to get both to run on a modern OS.

The question caught them off guard. Do you really think they would say the NS was canceled in front of that audience? That was a saving face answer to keep the fans in the room from reacting negatively.
Unless MTV got a quote directly after the panel from MJ (which is entirely possible) this changes nothing. Its great to be hopeful about a second season, but it has to weighed against a dose of skepticism to be realistic.
YAY to no cancellation! But tarnations to the next step. Those morons at CN make me facepalm! The next step is to get everyone started on the 2nd season! Simple as that!
In other words, keep it up until the second season starts.
Here’s hoping we get SOMETHING a little bit more substantial soon.
