Hey everyone, just another update on the audio interviews front - check out Nick’s latest interview with ThunderCats’ Secondary Character Designer, Jim Meskimen!
In the interview Jim said when doing an animated movie “voice acting is one of the first things you do”.With that said concerning to the Thundercats movie,all that is done at the moment by guess is:character designs,movie script,and voice acting.I also believe WB is keeping things quiet until they are ready to release the movie teaser(hopefully next year)!
That’s a fair point and something I hadn’t thought about. However, to get news stirring of the project, they usually do release news about the voice-acting every now and again.

The first is the finally awaited exclusive full audio interview with Peter Newman, voice of Tygra, Monkian amongst other characters. This is a great, great interview and I thoroughly recommend it.
Apologies for the slightly delayed heads-up following the posting of this news on the front page, and also in the ThunderCats Lair 3rd Anniversary thread on the General Discussion forum - but, I thought you guys might be interested to hear this teaser that my pal Nick Mills has put together to promote our next exclusive audio interview, to be released in full on Friday 19th December!
Who is this teaser of? That much I’m not going to reveal - but, suffice to say it’s an interview ThunderCats fans have been wanting to hear for a long time, but that even Warner Bros were unsuccessful in securing for their TCats DVD special features!
I’m sure by now all of you guys have downloaded the teaser and realised that the interview added to the site today is none other than the legendary EARLE HYMAN, the voice of Panthro!!!
I really appreciate the feedback so far for the interviews. The Earle Hyman interview is a very rare and brilliant interview and I really hope you enjoyed them - and that it gave you more insight into the show as a whole.
Now we know why Pumyra was hardly ever on the show.
Ah, she wasn’t too bad. Though there was some awkwardness there, that was actually due to me getting the pronounciation of her name wrong. But it was still a nice interview regardless - I think Chilla’s a great voice, anyway.
I’d prefer Gerrianne’s voice over someone else, if (yeah right) the series was continued/upgraded or if they asked some of the voice actors to be in the movie.

Whenever someone else tried to imitate someone else’s voice, it never has that full DEPTH to it.
Sometimes you can get close, but it usually isn’t the same.
Tho I guess a VERY GOOD imitation is better than nothing.
And, don’t forget, this interview will be released in full on December 19th!
