Finally? It’s all gonna be in Swedish which is gonna be fun to watch. Hopefully it will do good.

Cartoon Netweork Latin America will start airing it on May as well.
The problem is, they will air it on a daily basis (Monday to Friday), so I guess we’ll have reruns more sooner than later lol

I thought it was the premiere but it was the “Ramlak rising” episode. Which means i’ve missed two (if they did air the first two episodes with each other).
It was good. I was just wondering how they would dub it, did not expect much. The best thing was “The Sword of omens” and other stuff got the same name as it did in the Swedish version of the original show, so stuff were familiar. Before the episode i went to the local Pizza hut to.. Well get myself a pizza, and some kids were like “Guys we gotta go home and watch THUNDERCATS, it looks so cool. My dad told me he did watch it as a kid himself”.
It felt like time stopped there, i would never figure that there were others like me here were i live (it’s just about 1000 people, hardely got a store or anything).
But wanna know the “best” part? The original voice of Lion-o in the Swedish version did the Claudus voice in this one

I dont know how often it airs, when it airs. Well i know it’s 19.30 GMT+1 but other then that i dont know. I need to spread this to friends.

Yeah.I just watch digimon in swedish because I forgot how swedish sounds. Very different but not in a bad way.
I would wanna tape it but i can’t (god i said tape it T_T). Well i could try but then i have to bring it over from the tape to the computer which… Is annoying but possible.
For me it sound very cheesy.. From my experience they are not professional voice actors but they got the job done.
So it’s safe to say the english one is better (at least voice-acting wise)?
Of course, i did grow up with the original show in Swedish (still have it on tape) but the english is much much better.
What i was afraid about was how they were gonna translate names, and item names like “Book of omens, Sword of omens” etc. In the first series they “translated” the names of the characters.
[B]Lion = Lejon
Lion-o = Lejon-o
Tiger = Tiger (it sounds different then it looks)
Tygra = Tiger
Panthro = Panter
Panther = Panter[/B]
etc etc etc Wilykat and kit got some other random name. (this is regarding the Swedish version of the 85 series, names in the new show stay the same which sounds wierd as you hear the name is of a different language)
The translation for items was very good i must say, the most fun is that it is translating it the same as they did with the old show. You may think: “Well of course they will?” but there is so many ways you can say “The Sword of Omens” in Swedish. In english it would be the regular one The Sword of Omens, and another would be “The Omens Sword” as an example. Happy they choose the same translation.
Yet again most fun they did the same thing regarding voice actors for Claudus. Other then the fact it sounds to cheesy for me it’s very good. Better then most other shows they dub.. Oh my.
I for one like to watch stuff they were orignally made for. As an anime fan i could watch Thundercats in Japanese but would still prefer the english one cause it’s the “original”. Likewise even if a Swedish cartoon would be made that later on would make it’s way to the US. Then i probably would like the Swedish one more cause it’s made for Swedish people in mind.
I read on the ThunderCats.ws forums that the 2011 series would also be dubbed in Germany.
I had no idea the show would be coming here. I thought it would take longer than that. I remember watching the OS dubbed in swedish so it’ll be fun to hear how it sounds now.^^
I couldn’t stop laughing the first time I watched the OS in Spanish. It was so funny!
I wonder when they’ll be showing it in Turkey, so I can finally have something common to talk about with my nephew cause I can only pretend to care for Ben 10 for so long.

I feel the same way. I live close to many of my cousins and most of them have several children that i “have to take care of”. Most of them play and talk about Ben 10, Batman and the Bold, Turtles and simliar stuff. Now finally i can introduce them to Thundercats which would be amazing 
The only unfortunate thing is that when they are old enough to sit through an episode of the OS in English, it will be sooo old school. Oh well, the remake will have to do

Well if they like the new Thundercats enough they might wanna watch the old one. That’s what happend to my cousins son regarding Batman. Watched Begins and Dark Knight then he wanted to watch the older ones with me. We had fun
Nice of them to get round to admitting that N.America isn’t the only market. I just don’t know what took them so long. Like I said earlier they should have released it as close to simultaneously as possible across ALL markets.
