In case you haven’t seen it yet, MyAuctionReports.Com has a Thundercats sales report for Hard Hero’s new ThunderCats Statues line. The ThunderCats Statues Report is part of our line of reports on real sales for collectibles covering other properties and manufacturers such as Masters of the Universe, Sideshow Toys and Bowen Designs.

While the release of the Hard Hero statues has fallen behind schedule, we continue to track the latest ebay sales for the line’s first two releases: Lion-O and Cheetara.

Some highlights from previously recorded sales:

The highest sales price was $179.99 and the lowest was $91.[/li][li]Cheetara: The last 10 recorded sales have averaged $126.59 plus shipping. The highest sales price was $170.05 and the lowest was $91.[/li][li]Mumm-ra appears to have been released, but no sales have been recorded yet.[/li][/ul]

The new ThunderCats Statues Sales Report has been updated with the latest sales for the released products in the ThunderCats Hard Hero line. We will be tracking sales for Sideshow Lion-O Mixed Media Statue after it has been released.

Here are the current stats for Lion-O and Cheetara from the Hard hero line:

[li]Cheetara has sold in a range of $91-$170 with the last 10 sales averaging $124[/li][li]Lion-O has sold in a range of $91-$180 with the last 10 sales averaging $144.[/li][/ul]As the other statues are released and sold, they will be added to the report.

I like the idea…have you thought about doing the same for the classic toys, broken down by character, series, etc. This would be of great help to the community…sort of like what you are doing for the he-man vintage line

I would need some help from the community to provide data for the classics Thundercats toys with the different characters and series that they were included in. That would be needed at a minimum to build the standard report set.

[li][FONT=Arial]Lion-O sales have been steady in terms of quantity (3-4 per month) and have seen a rise in the sales average. The last 5 sales have averaged $164 with a high price at the full retail price of $200.[/FONT][/li][/ul]

[li][FONT=Arial]Sales for Cheetara have also been steady with 3-4 sales per month. The average sales price has stayed in the high $130 range, but has been in a very wide range with a low of $99 and a high of $200.[/FONT][/li][li][FONT=Arial]Tygra has been selling briskly with 8 sales recorded in the last 4 weeks. These sales have averaged $147 which is better than the Lion-O or Cheetara did after their initial release.[/FONT][/li][li][FONT=Arial]There was one sale for Bengali, which is an exclusive from BBTS. The ThunderCats Statues Sales Report has been updated with the latest sales through June 17. Here are a few notes and highlights from this latest update:

[li]Tygra, as the latest release in the line, has been the most active in sales. There have been about a dozen sales over the past two months with the last 10 sales averaging $140, although it has sold as low as $107[/li][li]Lion-O: Sales for the Thundercats leader has slowed down with only a couple of sales during the past six weeks or so. The report previously included only pieces from the Hard Hero Thundercats line, but with the release of the Lion-O Sideshow Statue, the report has been expanded to included sales for this new line. Here are a few notes from the latest update:[/FONT]

[li][FONT=Arial]Although it hasn’t sold out yet on Sideshow’s web-site, the [/FONT][FONT=Arial][U]Thundercats Lion-O Mixed Media Statue by Pop Culture Shock[/U][/FONT][FONT=Arial] has generated several sales over the past few months since its release. With an average sale of $304, buyers have been able to get an average of $50 off Sideshow’s $349 retail price.[/FONT][/li][li][FONT=Arial]There was also one sale of the [/FONT][FONT=Arial][U]Sideshow Exclusive Edition Lion-O Mixed Media Statue[/U][/FONT][FONT=Arial] and at a sales price of $470, it was almost $100 above Sideshow’s retail price, where it’s still available.[/FONT][/li][li][FONT=Arial]Sales for Cheetara have also been steady with 3-4 sales per month. The average sales price has stayed in the high $130 range, but has been in a very wide range with a low of $99 and a high of $200. [/FONT][/li][li][FONT=Arial]Back to the Thundercats Hard Hero line, there were a series of sales for Artist Proof Editions that sold fairly well. AP Editions of [/FONT][FONT=Arial][U]Lion-O[/U][/FONT][FONT=Arial] and [/FONT][FONT=Arial][U]Cheetara[/U][/FONT][FONT=Arial] sold for $200 and a [/FONT][FONT=Arial][U]Bengali[/U][/FONT][FONT=Arial] sold $240.[/FONT][/li][li][FONT=Arial]The regular editions of the Thundercats Hard Hero line continue to sell below retail. While recent sales gave only slight discounts for [/FONT][FONT=Arial][U]Cheetara[/U][/FONT][FONT=Arial] and [/FONT][FONT=Arial][U]Bengali[/U][/FONT][FONT=Arial], the two latest sales for [/FONT][FONT=Arial][U]Tygra[/U][/FONT][FONT=Arial] at $99 and $102 gave the buyers approximately 50% off the $199 MSRP.[/FONT][/li][/ul]
