I wanted to make a thread to just show support for the show in a positive way instead of feeding into all the negative rumors that were swirling around in the others ones. Instead of talking about stuff in a negative light, I think we need a thread that is positive and shows WB and CN and Bandai just how much we love our Thundercats because we know how successful and great this show is and will continue to be :thumbsup:
Outside of promoting the show to my friends on FB and Twitter and writing emails and letters to WB/CN/Bandai telling them how much I appreciate and love the show, I also went and purchased some more of the 6" figures. I already had the team assembled save for Tygra 6", but I scooped him up recently on ebay along with two other Lion-o’s and a Panthro at Toys’RUs on clearance. I figure I need to do my part to support the new show in as many ways as possible and will continue to do so! Let’s use this thread to promote our favorite show in any way you guys feel like in a positive, forward thinking way.
Some people elsewhere were talking about doing a twitter thing similar to what Fringe is doing to try to save their show.
When the show is on the air we throw out tweets with the same hashtag on them until the show goes off, and switch them up every week. Don’t think there’s been a decision on what to tag though. I was thinking episode titles.
Outstanding! I absolutely agree with you on this! Yes there are some negative rumours, but let’s look at what we have… 1. A NEW THUNDERCATS CARTOON!!! Thats cause for countrywide street parties on its own! 2. A cartoon that is on the whole damn outstanding! 3. A cartoon that is doing well with decent ratings. 4. A toy line with a few admitted target misses, but on the whole is pretty good, and is selling really well!
So on this evidence what is there NOT to be positive about?
I am unbelievably hAppy that thundercats is back and loving every single second of it! I have no doubt that as good as it is, it will only get better and better!
And on another note, I’m getting as much merchandise as I can get my hands on too! Can’t wait for the powers that be to release more in england! Bring on the dvd!!!

Great idea! How about keeping it simple though and simply tagging THUNDERCATS?
In total agreement with this! On CN’s Thundercats Facebook page, I recently told them that they truly had something great on their hands, and that we don’t get epic animated shows like this that are this well-done very often!
But if there’s any other way we can get the TPTB (The Powers That Be) to see here that they need to keep this show going, I’m all for it!
Like your idea, i have emailed WB, CN and just finishing another letter today for Bandai.I am writing to Bandai UK,which i think is the main distributor in Europe, and among saying many things, like sexplaining why the show and the toys should continue, i am also expressing my disappointment that Thundercats 2011 Toys haven’t been released in Greece and from the way things going anf the feedback i get, probably they won’t be ever released.The more countries Thundercata appear the best for the franchise!!

Yep i try to spread the word as much as possible, i still haven’t got a bad reply from a person about the quality of the show.They all have good things to say.
I believe one way or another our voices are well heard.

The Old Collector’s showcase and the New Collector’s showcase. I put forward this suggestion because as the time goes by, fans are gathering up their figures and it is quite reasonable to want to display them here.I want to hear if you prefer to put them all together under the same thread that already exists or would you opt for 2 divisions?------
lmao I was thinkin’ the same thing. He was totally han soloing in there, I already cracked and opened him. I couldn’t keep him from his beloved teammates.
So we need to switch what we tweet every week to help it trend? I’m not a huge tweeter so I’m not very familiar with it but I want to tweet weekly if it helps

Seriously you guys I love this show, I watched all the way back in 87 when I was 3 years old and it stuck with me till now, Thundercats = joy. I’ll do whatever I have to and am ready to help the cause with the rest of the Thundercats fans in any way shape and form.
Mate I was 8 back in 1987 and it has still stuck with me too!!! Thundercats was a huge part of my childhood! I absolutely love it! Both the classic series and the new series! This new series is amazing, and it deserves to continue for many seasons, the fan support is there and the numbers in terms of ratings and sales are certainly there, so I don’t see any reason why it won’t.
So I just set up my twitter account. Do we just tweet the word Tygra or Lion-o??? Let’s pick something to tweet and t ry and get it trending this Saturday at 9:30am? What do you think Balgus, shall we try Tygra this week?
How bout something that has something more to do with the episode? Like “#Lion-OLives” or “#longliveLion-O” something? shrugs just suggesting though. I was thinking episode titles before, but some of them may be too long.
Edit: Eh nevermind. Let’s keep it simple the first time. “#Lion-O” is fine. Lets spread the word to other Tcats sites and forums and FB pages.
