Thundercats Fanedits.

I created three Thundercats fanedits between 2011and 2013. Two based on Thundercats Exodus and one for Thundercats HO! the movie.

Here are some links with more information if you would like to check them out. Mods, please be aware I am not trying to bootleg anything, nor am I posting links to anywhere you will find download links to these projects. It’s just a database with details about these and many other interserting projects. It’s also somewhere that they can be rated and reviewed should anyone have seen them already.

Thundercats Exodus - Extended Edition:

Thundercats - HO! The Movie VHS Preservation:

I’d also be interested to hear if anyone has any ideas for other Thundercats related edits? Episodes that could be compiled into a movie, or rare variants that should be preserved.

When I download a .RAR, I expect it to contain the actual files once it is decompressed.

Instead, yours contain .NZB references to the files that require a paid premium Usenet account to retreive.

I would have really liked to see these, but you have made it incredibly difficult to get them.

All of my fan edits are on Usenet yes, as its a way I can be sure of them being stored online for a long period. I had previously used rapidshare and when they went south, so did all my links. That said, its not the only way of obtaining the edits, and have been torrented all over the net. I’m not going to post links of course, but I’m sure if you have found the NBZ files, you’ll be able to find them too.

Hey there,

Just alerted to this project- thanks so much for doing it! I’ve downloaded what I could but most of the files are missing pieces this far after upload. Do you have another way I can snag a copy of the discs?

Thanks!

Disregard- I was able to get it all down through another server or two:)
Thanks again!

I would love a “movie edit” of all the five-parters, including the anointment trials. Ya know, removing all the ending and closing credits, perhaps blending episode and commercial break points as best as possible (as was done for “Thundercats Ho!”). I dunno if its possible, but also customizing the titles to remove “part 1” from the first title screen and giving a new name to the trials that would encompess them all would be great, but I know I am asking for the moon. Also perhaps an extended cut of “Thundercats Ho!” since I noticed the one you posted is missing some scenes (I assume to align it with the edits made for the original VHS).

Oh wow! I never noticed this thread. Gosh, I would love to see these. And I agree - the anointment trials would be awesome to put together. Perhaps also the other 5 parters that we have for ThunderCubs and Return to ThunDera?

Just a question though - I see the comment on the ThunderCats Ho movie that the berserkers argued over who gets the most gold. Was it cut from the DVD too? Why do I recall seeing that? Also not sure if I remember the mutants eating.

This scene, plus some others, were on the DVD’s but omitted from this project. Having never seen the VHS copy of Thundercats Ho!, I am assuming that these were originally edited from that and Booshman was simply recreating it for historical purposes (which I appreciate) but would also love a copy with all the deleted materiel also.

I would like to have the original intro of Exodus made available. Saw a poor quality on You Tube. That was fun though.

I know that is included in Booshman’s original edit of Exodus. Not sure about the extended edit as I have not downloaded that one yet.

I’ve got other projects I’m working on right now. I think this idea could work but I don’t have the time for it. Perhaps you coulld take it on? I won’t be doing an extended version of HO!, the purpose of the project was to recreate the VHS cut. An extended cut wouldn’t be different enough from the individual episodes to make it worthwhile.

Yeah the scene is present in the VHS and the DVD but there are a few lines missing from the VHS version. As you mentioned I have editied the DVd to match the VHS presentation.

It’s in both. The ecxtended version is the VHS with all of the deleted footage added back in. The difference between Exodus and Ho! being that the for Exodus, both the VHS and DVD have footage exclusive to them. Ho! on the other hand has no footage exclusive to the DVD, so if you watch the individual episodes you get to see all availabe footage.
