Hello everyone!
My name is Ignacio, but you can call me Iggy for short. I came upon this site because of course, i am a huge ThunderCats fan. My earliest childhood memories were watching ThunderCats on my local TV station, back in the mid 80’s. I had most of the toys as a child, but for some reason or another i lost them all.
Back in the mid 90’s when ThunderCats was given new life on Toonami, i caught the collecting bug and started to purchase Carded Thundercats. Needless to say i grew quite a large collection. I was even lucky enough to score a Cat’s Lair that was in such good condition, that it scored an AFA 85. I believe that it was either the highest graded Cat’s lair, or one of the highest ever.
Recently though due to financial troubles and just not enough room, i had to sell off my massive collection. I was very saddened by this, but it just had to be done.
After about a year without any ThunderCats figures, i’ve come to the realization that i can at least collect loose ThunderCats, and so that’s what i’ve been doing for the past 3 months.
Anyways, i just thought i’d introduce myself and say how honored i am to be apart of a board dedicated to the greatest cartoon of all time. I’m sure you are all great people, and i look foward to getting to know you all!
