Very excited to see the Berbils but I am not sure how I feel about them being able to go all Metroid and turn into balls

Yeah, why balls? There’s Pokemon, Baku.. something, etc.
Although, it would make for a funny line reuse from the original: “Urble-durble berbily-urble berbil (ball).” I hope I got Lion-O’s mocking of the Berbil language right… Working from memory.

From the look of the preview clip, it looks as though the Berbil Fruit actually makes the 'Kittens go hyper or something?!

Maybe the berbil fruit varieties now include catnip fruit.
I like the fact that they can roll up into balls. It kinda makes them more interesting and useful. Hopefully in this version they won’t be as weak as they were in the original!

The berbil voices still scare me. But they are cute.
Loved the preview for this episode! I caught how they paid homage to the original series’ dialogue in that introduction there.
These Berbils are so cute. I like the rolling ball feature. I think it suits them.

Yeah, I don’t dislike the rolling ball feature - based on this clip, I think they’ve recreated the Berbils very faithfully here, so if they want to give them an action feature like that I can live with it!

Not only are the Berbils fairly faithful to the original (including the voices) but the Trollogs are too. That makes me smile, for some reason.
Berbils - What I like about them:
- The rolling feature - LOVE IT! Similar to Wilykit’s special move in the OS and also done by Panthro once, makes a lot of sense considering they’re mechanical.
- Ro-Bear Bill’s voice - it’s exactly the same! I love it! It has this like calming effect on me. :eek:
Berbils - What I don’t like about them:
- The long arms - makes me think of apes
- The flat-headed Berbils - they look creepy
Other than that…
What is with the Kittens eating habits? I don’t think it’s cute. I don’t think it’s funny. I actually find it a turn off and am apt to change the channel, and this scene of them was worse than the two times before that we’ve seen them eat. It’s disgusting to watch. :mad:
Anyhoo…
The Giantors aren’t unrecognizable either. I have high hopes for this episode as well.
One other thing…
Why does Lion-O have Panthro’s nunchuks strapped to his back in this image?

I could be wrong, but I have a feeling the chucks are actually in Panthro’s hand, which is obscured by Lion-O’s body.
I too find the kittens’ eating habits a bit gross, but keep in mind they are orphaned street kids. They aren’t used to having much to eat even before ThunDera’s downfall. So they don’t have the table manners or the self control to eat meals like the others.
only one clip? anyway really looking forward to this episode! the twins look to me like they’ve eaten too much candyfruit and are on a sugar high. look at their eyes. and the nunchucks are definitely in panthros hands in the pic. as for the berbils themselves im glad they’re so close to their OS counterparts. i don’t mind the rolling at all. this gives them a peaceful way to get out of danger and is WAY more acceptable than the idea some people had of them having gun arms. also glad they stayed faithful with their voices. and i also like how they don’t all look exactly the same. anyway can’t wait til friday!
