I wouldn’t mind if Cartoon Network only renewed it for 13 episodes. That’s 13 episodes better than 90% of the original junk they air.

Wow I’m not sure about Pumyra being a bad guy now 
Gotta admit I’m kinda disapointed that they went down that route to be honest.
The episode was great, but for me Pumyra’s betrayal kinda spoilt it It was just so out of place for ThunderCats and doesn’t really work. I was hoping Pumyra was under Mumm-Ra’s control through magic and not because she hated Lion-O!
We really do need a second season to rectify Pumyra’s story, as well as find the 4th stone. Otherwise the series is kinda left on a sour note for me
Hopefully, she’s under some spell or something. The inner conflict would make for a great season episode !
On a side note, with all the time Mummra has hit her to have her kiss his hand was dysfunctional!!!
personally though, she’s gonna go mad at some point. whether it’s because she’s technically undead and can expire, or because she’s got her own inner demons to battle, something will go down whether the TCats decide if she’s worth saving or not.
and yep sigh good ol’ Mumm-Ra - putting the ‘fun’ back in dysfunctional!
Yeah I noticed that one to. (after I watched it a second time). So I think her real soul and her controlled soul were in conflict and the attack from Mumm-Ra kinda snapped her out of it. To allowed her controlled soul to take back over her.
You know I feel the same way about Pumyra. It just seems to betray the whole spirit of the Thundercats. I don’t want to get into TOS vs NS thing, but in TOS, Thundercats were always represented something noble and good, but the way it was done here just seems to take away from that. And seemingly done for the sole purpose of introducing plot twist.
I think her fighting between her two selves will show up next season.

If it does, I hope it’s not a rehash of the whole soul and spirit thing that were main themes in Native Son and the trials. Not because I didn’t like it, but because it’s been done.
I grew up watching the OG series too, but that world depicted a very Black/White picture of honor and nobility, good vs. evil. In a way, it’s like DC’s Superman. It’s great for setting up role models for children growing up, but it gets a bit hammy once you start paying your own mortgage and shopping at Costco.
The 2011 series definitely adds more dimension to the characters, although some of the episodes feel kinda forced to tell the message and some plots points seem to be screaming obvious.
It also leaves some room for weaknesses and underdeveloped traits of the characters. The old Lion-O was a fighting beast right out of the gates. You could throw an entire army at him and he’d come out unscathed literally. The new one seems to be OP in some episodes and then easily outmatched/outwitted by Tygra in others. It’s nice to see some of the characters getting recognition over Lion-O, but it just makes it harder to convince that he can beat Mummra one-on-one anytime soon. Something another season or 2 might expand on making Lion-O a credible match against Mummra, because of right now, I’m not too in love with him going all Anime in a battle suit to win a fight.
With Pumara backstabbing her own race, there’s some interesting stories opening up, but ultimately she’ll share the same cliche fate in the end. Redemption and then death.
Great episode and the mutant are together at last. Hammy and others sorry about Pumyra. When I saw it Pumyra evil. I thought of all her fans. Wow you guys pictures are not you know who.
Everybody else speculated Pumyra would betray the ThunderCats, and they were so right.
I thought it but didnt share with too many other people, especially Limyra shippers, I didmt wamt to be right, poor Liono.
Nice episode, not as good as part 1 IMO, but still good.

Now one question: when Birds City was falling, couldn’t the Birds just, I don’t know, fly? 
I remember one of the Birds flying when cut the ropes from where Addicus was hanging.

I’m kinda disappointed Slithe wasn’t in the episode since his lizard army was there attacking Avista and the ThunderCats.
I wish Cheetara would have fought Pumyra.
