Very strong finale. I am please, MOST pleased…and will tear down the world if we don’t get a second series. I was quite surprised to discover that Pumyra actually died in the fall of Thundera. Perhaps in resurrecting her, Mumm-Ra magically ensured she’d be loyal to him? We’ll see, I suppose.
On another note, the day this series premiered, I started growing my hair, in honor of Lion-O. (as we both have exactly the same hair. LOL.) As fate would have it, my new job wants me to cut it all off today…the EXACT day the season ends. VERY strange timing. :lionomad:
Well we had hints of SW ESB with the bird city. Now we can get lines from SW RotJ with Lion-O and Pumyra.
Lion-O: “She hasn’t compleatly turned to the Darkside. Their is still good in her I felt it.”

That’s what I’d like to know. Is she actually the Pumyra turned evil or was she tainted by Mumm-Ra? I really wish they explained it better. For all we know, she doesn’t have free will.
i will say this is the best of the new series in this 2 parter pumyras betrayel which i dont think will stick, then u have pretty decent storyline and action and finally mummra becoming a threat for the first time in the new series in my view. all in all to me this was the best of the series

I think she’s some sort of a puppet of Mumm-Ra. No one in the right mind would kiss that…eughh!:eek:
yes that sounds fair and a great way to put it since part 1 was just average, part 2 really is what makes this almost turn into what might of been a fave in this series

52 episodes were ordered, not bought. Just because shows have episodes ordered doesn’t mean they produce them.
In the 80’s the TV series Blue Thunder had 20 episodes ordered but only 11 ever aired. Misfits of Science had 20 episodes ordered but only 16 were produced.
More recently, Sym-Bionic Titan had a second season of episodes ordered but not a single one ever was produced. The Cape had 15 episodes ordered but only 10 aired. They even cut complete episodes out entirely to get a series finale up in lieu of the show being cancelled.
In the comics Mummra had the kittens (now adults) as his “personal” slaves…especially Wilkit …lets just say she bathes him…yeah EWWW! I guess for the NS they choose Pumyra to play this role…but have no fear the kittens are saved in the end all beit it takes time for the crew to trust Wilykat completely…especially Cheetara.

It was pretty much open and shut with the flashback explanation. Mumm-Ra brought Pumyra back to life and now she is his beloved.
Sorry L/P fans but your girl turned out to be just another Cheetara.
