ThunderCats Episode 25: “What Lies Above, Part 1”

Man, it seems like only a week ago when “New Alliances” premiered. Now we’re here. I can’t wait to see how they get the stone.

The soul sever was UP! The book of omens indicated UP! The cats reasonably would follow UP! So i wouldn’t be surprised if we see more of the techmedic Super duper Soul Sever in this week’s ep;)

I still it hope it has something to do with the floating city and the stone in some way helping it stay up there.

I know I and others have said this before, but my biggest expectation for this episode is Vultureman.

I could see him in this episode, but maybe at the end of the second part joining Mumm-Ra, kind of as a teaser for the second season.

Yeah, my biggest prediction would absolutely be vultureman!!! The question is wether he’ll be a leader of his people like Rataro, or a potential ally to Mumm Ra and the mutants/generals??

Also, I wonder what his name will be?

Two lingering questions:
How do they get up there?
Any possibility of cats up there?

Get up there, no one has talked about that as far as i know. As of now i have no idea. Maybe they sneak onboard when the evil guys use some flying ****?! :thumbsup:

I think the foreshadowing of the wrecked flying vehicle in “the Soul Sever” made it pretty clear how they’d be getting up there…but I could certainly be wrong.

Yeah they even said out loud in the episode that the jet might be a way to get there.

and I think vulture-man is DEFINITELY going to be there . as in one of the interviews with the creators they were asked about him and they replied with “yes and you’re gonna love him in the new show!” . so as an inventor , in a bird city , in an episode centered around a tech stone..yeah .

The Feliner could really come in handy for the cats right now, if they can build it.

I dunno about Part 1, but Part 2…Armour of Omens ahoy! And may they puh-lease bring back the girls and kids! I kinda sorta believe that when Tygra said, “Cheetara and the kids,” in ‘Soul Sever’ he was referring to Pumyra as one of the kids, cos she might be more or less Lion-O’s age.

Hmm, she is younger than Lion-O (from what I’ve heard), but she’s far from a kid attitude-wise and physically.
