I really hope that next weekâs episode doesnât feel like the grand finale.
Here are ways that i think wonât make it feel that way

Here are ways to end the two-parter that i personally think would seem too abrupt

[li]Pumyra staying behind at the Bird city to help things out (as pennants for what she tried to do)
[/li][li]The help the Kittens bring back being virtually every animal ally theyâve encountered (sounds like something better suited for the grand finale)
[/li][li]Pumyra actually being a spy for Mumm-Ra, i donât think that would be good thing to do to her character or for Lion-O
[/li][li]Mumm-Raâs apparent defeat (seems too abrupt if you ask me)
[/li][li]The L/P ship basically ending in general
[/li][/ol]
Nope, Pumyra is now officially manipulating Lion-o through the guise of a relationship to seek her revenge. That is not a relationship. The other TCs realized this episodes ago, and I think Lion-o may have finally realized it when she got bug zapped at the end.
Until they go over Pumyraâs back story or at least dwell on her need for revenge and Lion-o and the rest understand this, there is no relationship.
I suspect that her strong will and stuborness will lead her away from the group, at least temporarily untill she finds the peace she needs. If she is willing to sacrifice an entire civilization for her revenge, that speaks volumes to her character. Maybe that puts this school yard crush in perspective.
That or they kill her off. (Standard response to everything these days)
Also POD RACING reference! All they need was a Jar-Jar like character and I probably would have thrown up.
Me-yowza! I see spoilers! Iâm so over the moon about what I see in this thread: the Feliner (Barely remember it from the OS) and Vultaire Vultureman, but I really wish I could see this episode right now. And about PumyraâŚ

That theory makes me wish Mumm-Ra will bring back Grune (like he does in the OS, though Iâve never seen it all), just so that I can see Pumyra give him a lifetimeâs worth of whammies.

OMG yes, WAY too abrupt. Besides, Pumyra worked only for the rats and fought for dogs, all of whom have nothing to do with Mumm-Ra. Then again, seeing how WilyKat temporarily went rogue in the comics just so that he could save his sister, maybe L/P might hatch a secret little plan, where Pumyra can go rogue, while remaining a sleeper double-agent on the Catsâ side.
Is it weird that I feel bad for Pumyra even after todayâs episode. Sheâs just such a tortured soul and Lion-O seems to be the only one to know her true soft side.
Thatâs why Lion-O was meant to be King, he always breaks the ice in the most appropiate fashion.
I donât think a lot of people understand that what Pumyra did wasnât because she wanted to go against Lion-O. In her mind she thought she was doing her king and her whole kind a favor, but she didnât think it through.
I know right, this is gonna make the finale a potpourri of disaster and drama and then the Snog of the Final Episode award goes toâŚLionYra!!

Exactly, people are reading way too much into the impulsive act of an impulsive cat. She (like Tygra) is thinking only of the cats because of the oppression theyâre currently under, but Lion-O understands that the cats have done more than their fair share of oppression and canât win this battle by turning into what theyâre fighting against.
On Pumyraâs part it was a pure case of ignorance. She obviously didnât know how cruel the cats were to other species. Lion-O understands this and needs to teach her this so she doesnât make the same mistakes. She was just wanting the best for her kind and made a rash decision. Thereâs nothing âevilâ or even âwrongâ about that. It just didnât end well and Iâm sure sheâll learn from it.
Yâknow guys, this seems to be a repeat of âAstral Planeâ and âBetween Brothers.â Cats go to an animal haven, Cats meet animals of haven, one Cat gets all impulsive for a reason and does something big to set off the next episode. Then the big thing happens, Mumm-Ra happens, it all gets OK, then a kiss at the end. What dâyou think?
Weâre missing the kiss, the Mumm-Ra, and it all getting okay.
Thatâs part 2âs shot. Iâd like to see another Will Friedle-written episode anyhow, seeing how he handled Trials 2 and BotB.
I like Tab Murphy and the guy who wrote this episide more, but Will is an incredible voice actor and a decent writer.
It was in the junk around Soul Severâs place last episode. They just repaired it. Reminded me a lot of the OS. Remember how many vehicles were made from scraps? Even the Thundertank was.
Anyone else find it interesting that lots of people commented on Tygraâs sudden flying skill, but no one was like âHey how come the Wily twins are able to paint a perfect catâs symbol?â lol

So this leaves the question of how Mumm-Ra gets his bandaged butt up there and how he even figured out where to look for them. My guess is he can track the Book of Omens through his pool, since he was the original owner and the Cats lug it around with them wherever they go.
Iâd say he goes into Raven Mode to reach the city, but then Iâm not sure how he would tote the SoP all the way up there in bird form. And not get eaten by Horus along the way.
Btw I donât think pulling the stone out would kill all the birds like people are saying. If anything it would kill all the ThunderCats instead. The birds can all fly.
