It’s nice to see that by and large Lion-O averts the “Love Makes You Dumb” trope in his dealings with Pumyra, at least as far where tactics and planning are concerned. When she has a good idea (or in some cases the least-worst one) he goes with her, but if it’s dumb he calls her on it and says no. The hard part is actually stopping her once she makes up her mind on something.
Well the Tank was destroyed and the Feliner looks like it has more than enough room for everyone and is much faster. They’d kinda be stupid to go back to the tank if they still have it.
Personally I hope the Feliner gives them a way to settle down into one place and rebuild Cat’s Lair. Afterall they could go anywhere they need to pretty fast in it.
They can just agree to disagree.

It seems odd that they’d redesign the tank only for it to be destroyed a few episodes later. If we’ve seen the last of the tank it really didn’t go out in a blaze of glory or anything.
If we get a second season I’d love for the Cats to settle into the Tower of Omens or rebuild the Cats Lair and have access to both the Feliner and Thundertank. It’d be just like old times.
I missed the first five minutes of today’s episode, but that’s what Cartoon Network West is for.
Anyhow, I LOVE Norton’s interpretation of Vultureman, or Vultaire. It’s interesting hearing him speak without a squawky voice, which might I add isn’t a bad thing. Vultaire’s other aspect I find interesting in this series is not so much his more vulture-like design (while remaining faithful to the original design) is his personality. He seems very different from his original counterpart.
I also like that the kittens kept the Forever Bag, and pulled out some candy fruit, when they didn’t like what the birds served them, and I also liked that there was a flashback, regarding the crash to Third Earth, and the stones.
Who would’ve guessed that the birds kept the tech stone. I mean, look at their city, it’s quite different from Bird Nation, (see New Alliances) when Addicus was going to be dropped from the heavens for his crimes.
The ThunderKittens used their hover boards again this time around.
Good episode. Loved that Vultureman wasn’t a good guy or a bad guy. Tygra wasn’t much of an ass to Lion-O. The Kittens were involved Pumyra, even though I love her, ****ed me off in this episode. I know she’s rash and such and she was thinking about the sake of her people, but her being okay with the destruction of a city and her pulling that crap with the stone was not cool.
My thoughts exactly. Tygra was getting a taste of his own medicine. Racism isn’t so nice and acceptable when YOU’RE the target of it, ain’t it, Tygra?

I give it a solid 8 but it’ll probably be a six.
So there are really two species of birds and kingdoms right? Didn’t Atticus get sentenced to death by some kind of vulture/bird species that was living on the surface of the planet? I wonder if that is the species the twins are attempting to “get help” from.
as its a 2 parter i have to wait for the second part to be aired then i will give my rating for it

Pumyra needs to learn to work as a team and respect the orders of the king. I like this situation for Lion O. He has feelings for Pumyra, but is mature to control his emotions and make the correct rational choice as a leader. The challenge now is for him to assert that authority to a hard headed subject like Pumyra. He’s got to put his foot down and ( i cant believe im saying this) put Pumyra in her place. She needs to work with the team and she needs to respect the kings authority. Question is how will this affect their blossoming relationship? It can either make Pumyra see the light and work with him or it will cause a rift between them.
Tygra stood out in this episode! Seems that he and Lion O are working together well…cept when his pride is hurt by the birds and gambles everything on a race. What a Han Solo he turned out to be. Which by the way this episode was totally inspired by star war’s cloud city.
