Arrogance does not necessarily translate to evil. Plus his statements regarding a confrontation with Mummra seem to indicate the opposite. Vultaire has a thriving city and it appears that there is no hint of repression or suffering by the birds. He may be an arrogant snob, but at this point he isn’t even the same league as a Slythe, Addicus, Kaynar, or Rattaro.
Exactly, there’s simply no way to get everyone out in time, even if it fell on a sparsely populated area it would still be like dropping the entire island of Manhattan on the American Mid-West from the stratosphere (that’s 30,000 to 39,000 feet!). Even the best-case scenario would be a disaster of biblical proportions.
Exactly. I still don’t blame Pumyra for wanting to get the stone. She was only trying to help in her own, twisted, violent way.
Which is just another reason why she needs Lion-O with her, he has the ability to see beyond his own need to the needs of others. It’s why he wouldn’t fight her in the Pit, it’s why he abandoned the Sword of Plundarr to save her, and it’s why he will not take the stone from the Birds.
Who knew sight beyond sight could apply to his romantic side?

This was a great episode!
Someobody mentioned that the kittens left with their special bag so that they could easily carry the help they could need. If this rings true, perhaps that episode was not such a filler after all. The question is: who are the Kittens going to ask help from? We’ll have to wait and see for that answer.
It’s good to know I’m not crazy as others have mentioned the similarity of the cloud city scene. Also, I loved the Egyptian like design of the birds.
I’m hoping the ThunderKittens will enlist the dogs’ help.

My cards are for the Elephants, cos they were easier for the Kittens to bond with. Or even the ragtag lot from Tookit’s former gang, who are more than meets the Eye of Thundera. Plus, the design WAS Egyptian-esque (And I’m a total sucker for Ancient Egyptian stuff, next to Tintin) and some of them seem to have British accents! Cool!
Yup. Vultaire brags during the discussion regarding the stone that the birds are literally above Mumm-Ra and the concerns of the animals down below.
Mumm-Ra is gonna pop up suddenly and hand the birds their ass by grabbing the tech stone. Then we’ll have a bit of a repeat of Leo/Mumm-Ra sword-fight except w/ lion-o this time. Lion-O of-course will be the guy who can use the power of the tech stone and save the day by transforming into the Armor of Omens. And then Pumyra will get all cozy on him and say, “You are always right my king”. yawn
That would be kinda awkward to pull out a sword and use sight beyond sight on your girlfriend.
I agree with you up to the point where you say Lion-O uses the Armor of Omens because the armor needs all three stones to unlock it. When he got the Spirit Stone all he could armor up was one arm so if it shows up again he might get one arm and the breastplate. And I think Pumyra will be more ashamed in the aftermath after seeing the destruction and realizing she tried to do the same thing, sort of like how she was at the end of “Birth of the Blades” and Lion-O will, as always, reassure her.
Actually, the tech stone alone gave Leo the whole suit of armor, so he will be able to wear all of the armor. Otherwise I agree.

I don’t think Pumyra should be ashamed. What she did is what her heart told the right thing. Because she’s the one who’s suffered in the mines. She’s the one who knows what other animals can and will do when a cat is down (think about that). She’s doing so to make sure cats always have the upper hand.
What did the rest of the cats do when trying to open the door? None of them (yes including Lion-O) have the right to question her on what she did, considering they wouldn’t even have a rats ass chance of even bargaining with Vultaire for the stone but for her.
I’m loving Pumyra. She’s a lot like Tygra but a lot more impulsive which makes for an interesting character. What I love about her is that she doesn’t have the “I’m a cleric. I know it all. I’m meditating on the fate of the Universe” vibe that Cheetara gives off.
I agree with you, but I don’t think that’s really how Cheetara acts most of the time.
Cheetara, so far, is the most poorly developed character. 
I know that was harsh on her. I guess I’m just bitter about an opportunity lost to have made her character interesting. What else can you say about her persona? Here’s what we know about her:
- She’s calm and can reason on things.
- She never reacts and makes mostly passable remarks.
- She doesn’t call someone on bull****.
The writers have made the soul purpose of her existence in the show to be the brothers’ rivalry and the lame triangle. What else do we know about Cheetara? And we are at the end of the season with nothing to talk about lead female of the show.
I feel bad because Cheetara was such an interesting character in the OS (yes I know this is not the OS). Anyway we’re drifting off the topic I guess.

We finally get the Feliner and Vultureman (Vultaire). It’ll be interesting to see what part 2 has. My main gripe is with Panthro hanging off the edge of the building and then falling down the side without using his Mr. Fantastic abilities to catch himself. I mean, please, isn’t that the kind of situation where he would use his extendable arms? It’s like Panthro becomes the “damsel in distress” and it’s a bit insulting to the viewers. Yeah, I know, they had to have Tygra and Lion-O come to Panthro’s rescue, but still… 
This is cool she vman turns evil and joins mumm-ra with his own bird army.
