Yeah I noticed the old theme song and YAY’ed like a crazy person, my roomates are pretty mad I woke them up at 6 am.

This was up there as one of my favorites but Native Son is still in the top spot. Tab Murphy as always delivers a great episode.
OK, who else besides me really dug the Godzilla Vs. Mothra ending to the episode?

The old theme song absolutely made this episode. Got so stoked when I heard it. Lion-O’s lightning move was also really cool.

I especially enjoyed the little Godzilla shout out between Mumm-Ra and Lucy.
And who knew Ponzi was right? All Lion-O had to be was himself, good thing Pumyra is turned on by AWESOME. But screw Lion-O/Pumyra, the shippers are really gonna have a field day with Love Potioned!Tygra.
It looks like Lion-O/Pumyra is pretty much official, you could argue that her kiss didn’t really mean anything more than the one Cheetara gave him in “Into the Astral Plane,” but it’s the way she clings to him even after everything is over, as if to say “This is mine.”
Did anybody catch how Pumyra’s face healed? Miss that
I wish they could just let Tab Murphy write every episode. All his episodes seem to be my favorites.
I cannot believe that so many of you liked this episode. After that stupid Moby Dick episode, that was easily my least favorite. Other than some Pumyra/Lion-O development, the story advanced in NO WAY, and the Tygra stuff was ridiculous. :mad:

The worst part is that I generally like Tygra. Not like that though.
Okay…well…this felt like a low point. I was expecting something a bit more…serious. Huh. Lots of goofy stuff in this one. Pumyra’s puffy face, Tygra getting "high, " probably as a call back to “The Garden of Delights” from the OS. And then we get what amounts to a parody of Godzilla vs. Mothra. Nice to see the Wallows, and that Ponzi guy was a minor character in the OS.
This episode was filler. Seriously, I mean it. “Survival of the Fittest” gave us backstory, and “Forever Bag” at least ended with the Kittens getting a magic bag. Barely any development for any character here, and like Lion-O said, at the end things were back to normal. The only thing that really stood out was some well animated fight scenes, and we get to see Lion-O do some moves from the original series’ intro. But, just, guh, why did that have to use it for this filler of an episode?
And the relationship between Lion-O and Pumyra…eh, I was expecting better. I just read a fanfic that handled it a better and a lot more maturely. It was cute, and I guess the two of them were in character, kind of. I was expecting Lion-O to be a lot less eager considering what happened with Cheetara, but whatever. Pumyra kissing his cheek…feels like they’re rushing it. I don’t hate it though. Guess I’ll just have to wait and see what happens. I really hope the last three episodes turn out good, I really do.

I pretty much liked the episode. The best thing about it for me was Lion-O mimicking his classic counterpart’s moves from the classic series’ title sequence.
You’re setting yourself up for disappointment. This is playing out just like the L/C mess at the beginning. Everything is the same including he peck on the cheek. Remember what Tygra said to Liono at the beginning of the episode. There is so much that is not known about Pumyra, wait for the other shoe to drop before announcing the wedding day.
Besides she sounds like a gym instructor. She’d be the man in that relationship.
