In all fairness, Tygra shouldn’t have been just taking stuff and drinking it without first asking if he could and/or what it is.
He tends to be like that. Oh well, Pumyra wasn’t thirsty anyway.
I feel like the relationship between Lion-O and Pumyra will benefit both of them as characters. Lion-O is completely 110% over Cheetara now (it’s not confirmed but heavy implied), and he seems to genuinely love Pumyra instead of just having a teenage crush. Pumyra can also learn to show more mercy and calm down like Lion-O. Plus, I think the other cats will trust her more if she’s Lion-O’s girlfriend. It’s not just that I really think they should be together but it will help the story. I know, some people were upset because not everyone has to hook up, but their relationship is really interesting, and the inconsistency in the beginning really kept me interested, even if some thought it was just a result of faulty writing.
- It’s a whip, what more do you want? They’ve give about the same amount of attention to Cheetara’s new staff since she got it.

I agree with you on most of those point. Expect for one, I think the other cats will not trust Pumyra more if she is Lion-o’s girlfriend. I still think she will have to do something else to prove to the other cats that they can trust her. (By the way love you new sig, haha.)
I think they’ll gain some sort of respect if they see her being nice to Lion-O and listening to him. What I mean is they’ll be more accepting than anything.

I don’t know how you’d trick Tygra into having more of it. He might think twice before taking someone else’s gift. 
Convince Cheetara to give it to him. He trusts her more than anyone. I mean, she is his girlfriend. Then again, she didn’t seem to enjoy soft Tygra as much as everyone else.

Panthro just seems vaguely amused at Lion-O’s pursuit of Pumyra, Tygra has no faith in his brother and seems to be rooting for him to get his heart broken again, and only Cheetara seems genuinely concerned for Lion-O (but also makes judgements about Pumyra without really getting to know her).
As things go on they’re probably react in different ways based on their initial feelings shown in this episode, Panthro really won’t care one way or the other but may have a “way to go, kid” the next time she kisses him, Tygra will still have snarky comments possibly graduating to making them to their faces and may be grow jealous if he feels their relationship is moving faster than his with Cheetara, and Cheetara may be an overprotective worrywart until someone points out she never really gave Pumyra a chance to be anything other than bitter and unfriendly prompting her try and make friends with the younger cat (much to the horror of their boyfriends).
HA! I’m not sure I’d know what to do either if my know-it-all hotshot boyfriend suddenly started getting cuddly with a BUG and his brother and calling ol lovable surly Panthro a silly goose, I’d worry it was something contagious:o! I’d be like ‘‘um love ya honey but donotwant!!!’’
That’s exactly how I see it. I think Tygra will be somewhat jealous but not “Between Brothers” jealous, just a little. I can see Pumyra and Cheetara clashing heads a little. I think Tygra will have more of a problem with his girl interacting with Pumyra than Lion-O will have with Pumyra. Tygra seems to be very protective, and considering he’s lost a lot of people he loved in his life, I don’t blame him. I really want Pumyra to interact with the group more, and I think her and Cheetara’s relationship will be the most interesting. Hopefully a second season will come and we’ll see Lion-O develop more with Pumyra in these next few episodes. Then we’ll get some confirmation on both of their feelings (even though I’m pretty sure they’re together now).

- Tygra isn’t an architect. Cheetara doesn’t have her “sixth sense”. Why does Pumyra have to be a healer?

- The NS wouldn’t be interesting if he could do all that stuff. Considering they lost the sword almost every other episode in the original, he kind of needed to be able to do that. Maybe after he collects more stones he will be able to do that stuff.

Tygra might not be an architect but he still has the mental edge on Lion-O. Cheetara has hinted that the magic used by Jaga flows through her as well so they still the leverage to develop it. I’m just saying, for all the other characters, they retained something from the OS, (strength, invisibility, speed, cunning) and so far the only attribute they seemed to have retained for Pumyra is the face. For a character as underutilized as her, they’re only so many things from the OS they can retain (short bursts of speed, slingy weapon or healing) and I haven’t seen any.

Agreed. It does make the action a little more intense knowing that he can’t just call the sword. The 80’s was a simpler time for storytelling. In the NS, things happen that would never have made sense in the OS, like the Thunder Kittens wind up in danger and have to fend for themselves sometimes because Lion-O isn’t an all-seeing guardian who will always know when someone is about to be destroyed.

It’s the first time in this series I dislike how he acted. Of course he didn’t want to do something bad to Pumyra, but putting drugs into someone’s drink is shabby.
What I mostly dislike that he not even told the others that he knows what’s wrong with Tygra and that he did something really stupid; no it’s easier to try making a joke about Tygra.
And as a reward Pumyra kisses him on his cheek for acting incredible. Of course I can’t blame her for it, because she didn’t know what Lion-o did before.
Maybe I overdramatize it a bit and I should rewatch this episode. But again, what I dislike most is that Lion-o hasn’t told the others what was wrong with his brother.
Oh come on, he was thirsty, and how has he should known that his brother put drugs into the drink.
I just saw some of the episode (not done) and i wonder how did Pumyras face get normal again? Was it when the potion paralyzed the monster or somewhere else where i missed it?
Could just have gone back by yourself but.. I dunno.
I’ve been meaning to point that out! I actually noticed it the first time through. Maybe the fumes of the elixir from the crash helped it heal, but it’s kinda like the whole handcuff thing in Curse of Ratilla. Oh well, I think it was one of those cartoon things where people just magically heal in a short amount of time with now explanation (this happens mostly in comedy cartoons, and seeing that this episode was meant to be quite humorous, it’s a possibility).
Possibly. The only reason i noticed it was the way it happened and the way we got reminded of it when they met the potion guy and he was like.. “WOW” or something when he saw her face.
Good thing he did, though, since it saved Lion-O and Pumyra from what could have been an early end to a relationship that hadn’t even started yet if Pumyra ever figured out what Lion-O did. I’m guessing she would have been even less happy about going through something like that than Tygra was (assuming his Your Face response to Lion-O afterwards was him being unhappy about it).
Taking someone else’s drink without asking is rude, so I’m not trying to make any excuses for him there, but I can imagine he thought something similar to what I thought; Pumyra is tough enough that if she didn’t want Tygra to finish her drink, he wouldn’t have been able to, because Pumyra wouldn’t have let him.
As for drinking things without knowing what it is, he could have seen Pumyra drink from the cup earlier, thus assuming it was safe. Or he thought drinking things from cups in their own camp would be safe. Or he was just being too careless for his own good. Whatever the case, there shouldn’t have been drugs in Pumyra’s cup to begin with (unless she willingly put them there herself), so Tygra drinking something that was meant for someone else, while a rude thing to do, still doesn’t excuse Lion-O putting it there.
Yes, I have many feelings about the drugged drink.
Or he saw Lion-O sneaking up and putting something in her drink and thought “I’m gonna screw with him a bit.”
Quite possible, knowing the two of them, but that would just be too stupid for words, unless he thought his little brother would never be able to do something like that.
