I think Lion-O will get a little taller. He’s still not very tall, and Claudus was so tall, so it seems like he should be a little taller.
Speaking of height, did anyone realize that Pumyra (when fixing Lion-O’s arm in “The Pit”) was a few inches shorter, but didn’t seem to be quite as short in “Curse of Ratilla”?
Her height fluctuates (like everyone’s), when she first teases him about Cheetara she’s about a half-head shorter than him, when Panthro tells them to stop flirting and they move out she’s about the same height, but for the rest of the episode he’s got a few inches on her (Although just how much changes). She would probably have to stand on her toes a little bit to kiss him (Oh come on! You know they’re gonna :p).
I’m not really bothered by it, it happens all the time in animation. Although a character might have a specific height attributed to them animators usually go with what looks good at the time based on any number of factors, deadlines and rules of drama are often the biggest culprits (for example they may want to make Pumyra look “bigger” when she’s angry so she can believably slap Lion-O around, but in another scene where she’s acting demure and flirty they want her shorter because [sarcasm] the love interest is always shorter than the hero[/sarcasm]).
I’m betting they will before the season is over.
It’s gonna be a done dizzle.
The best would be for Cheetara to surreptitiously observe it when it happens, and get the same distressed look that Lion-O did in “Between Bros.” Paybacks are a B!
Honestly I don’t think species really determines size in this show. Caspin was a Tiger and he was as thin as Jaga, if not thinner.
Woo! Finally I get to post! I was really busy all weekend. Anyway, this episode was awesome! Looks like this episode starts the relationship with Lion-o and Pumyra. Although, Lion-o didn’t seem too happy with flirting or the idea of moving on. And once again Pumyra whooped Lion-o lol! Ratrao was awesome. I wonder if we will get to see him again. I was glad to see young Jaga very cool. The only thing that disappointed me was we didn’t get to see Lyx-o or Bengali. But oh well. I bet sometime soon we will get to see them. I can wait. But over all really nice episode!
I can’t wait to see her reaction to Lion-O and Pumyra!
