Think about it this way. First, they’re kids, and like all kids they whine because they would rather do kid things than anything that approaches “a chore”. Second, the two spent most of their lives being cared for within a typical family structure, the street thing was relatively new to them. Being with the older cats more resembles what they are accustomed to, and what they prefer. The whining actually is a good thing because it demonstrates how safe they feel being with Lion-o and the gang.

Interesting observation. It’s story telling approach does resemble LOST quite a bit.

In regards to the episode itself, not a bad one. I like the flashbacks the best and the stuff with the kids and the adult cats is pretty amusing, it’s funny. And at least the Wily twins actually act like kids.
And I’d like to know more about their family life like what’s going with the mother? I imagine her heart being completely broken that her own flesh and blood are gone and the other kids are going to be confused. Not to mention, their names; what are their names? And know at first I couldn’t which of the other two were a boy and a girl but upon closer inspection, I can diffrentiate.
I feel like the Nostalgia Critic with the gender confused child he came across in You Don’t Do That on Television.
I’m glad they ended the “boys vs. girls” competition early and even managed to subvert it in the end. That plot’s been done to death and I never liked it very much to begin with.
Well it looks like Wilykit more then likely got her flute while in Thunderia as aposed from her family. Still would really like to see this story told though.
Makes me wonder if there mother and siblings are still alive and what there names are.
I wonder if Wilykit’s flute as other abilities with specific songs.
Was it ever explain were/when Wilykat got his grappling string things?
Has anyone noticed that Wily Kit and Wily Kat are the only ones with two names? And the “family” name seems to be the first name instead of the last. Kinda how they do it in Asian cultures.
That same batch of concept art had Cheetara with her top zipped all the way up to her neck (WHY!? WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?) WilyKat shirtless, and Wilykit sticking her butt out.
Oh, man. I never noticed that before, well I noticed the Cheetara bit ( maybe they thought the low cut top would be a bit much for a runner? LOL NOT). I remember a discussion about the original had a topless Cheetara. I can understand why some of the art would be naked, but the sticking the butt out part?:eek:
