So I guess by Dec 9 it all will be solved and peace again, as Tygra must be there fo the trials, right?
Are 2 eps (the 2 trials eps) supposed to be aired in Dec 9?
But the summary for this ep calls it Panthro and Grune’s final duel. Wouldn’t be anything final about it if one of them didn’t die, and I don’t see the one who dies being Panthro.
Maybe Panthro gives up on killing Grune?
No problem. I think so, but if Tygra leaves to pretend spy w/o telling anyone it would cause problems. Maybe that’s what the Elephant saw.
New theory!
We all know in the Astral Plane thoughts/feelings/fantasies come true, or something like that, right?
Someone suggested a few posts back that it wasn’t Tygra actually breaking the log, but the materializatin of hs wishes to kill or have killed Lion-o,
What if the image isn’t Tygra’s wishes, but Lion-o fears? After all, he’s expecting Tygra to betray him, so it must be the one thing he’s fearing the most in the Astral Plane, and his fear is being projected and materialized in that image.
Maybe it’s how Panthro gets his cybernetic arms or Grune becoming an Undead/Ghost creature like in the original series.
I hope Cheetara doesn’t end with Tigra it would be like real life where the goodlooking nice girl ends up with the biggest jerk she can find. But if it does happen and Lion-o ends up with Pumyra instead I hope they make her character really interesting and likeable.
I just want to point out that the question on the blog was about the titles, not the air dates. CN’s website has the premiere rerunning on the 2nd which would make the date for New Alliances incorrect.
@Dragon78: That does seem to happen alot. ANd that’s why if Tygra and Cheetara end up together he needs to stop acting like this. He’s 20 years old, and his life doesn’t seem to be horrible enough for him to grip at Lion-o everytime Lion-o does/says something he thinks makes him unworthy.

It could be. But Lion-o said he didn’t think Tygra would betray him. Unless this was little Lion-o’s fear and a combination of little Tygra’s jealousy/wanting to be king? We know Tygra still wants to be king, etc. but Lion-o seemed in the Pilot to not have a problem with him until the Bell Competition and Tygra’s line about him being a better King.
Ahhh I must have overlooked that, well, if that being the case…whiskers. Grune was an excellent villain to have around.

Problem is that Tygra’s expression didn’t change. That tends to be pretty damning in showing it’s true. If it wasn’t true then we would be seeing some sort of reaction on Tygra’s face showing it’s wrong. I’m inclined to believe it is true but believing the best out of Tygra, was that he didn’t think his actions through and didn’t intend for Lion-O to fall.
Um…looking back on it, he probably felt like an absolute fool and knew what he had done was dangerous. Until that moment hits and a person realizes what really could have happened and how dangerous something is, and the harm it can do to someone that annoys the crap out of you, but that you love anyway.

This doesn’t surprise me considering Grune was dead in the original series. I’ve been wondering if they planned to kill him off. Or maybe they’ll do something completely different and have him come back to the good side.

The first clip of young Lion-O and Tygra on the branch - I’m wondering if that’s the betrayal that was forseen. Not a new betrayal, but Lion-O learning of an old betrayal he never knew regarding Tygra.
The clip doesn’t suprise me. Lion-O last week said that Tygra has darkness in him and Matthew Mercer who voices Tygra said in an interview that Tygra comes from a dark place. I’m starting to think their changes to try and make his character more interesting are in fact ruining a much beloved character from the original series. Such a pity, the show had so much potential. But we’ll see how things turn out in this episode.
I don’t think Mumm-Ra manipulated the vision, it seemed to me that Tygra knew what he did thus why he didn’t want them lingering to watch the vision.
I’m hoping the whole memory isn’t real, it’ll ruin Tygra for me. He seemed nice to Cheetara. ;_;
Maybe they’re doing this Tygra has darkness thing to get kids more openminded? To show that you can change and learn from your mistakes? They might do that with Grune too. He did seem to be brainwashed/mad.
But in the OS, didn’t Tygra get addicted/brainwashed really easily?
You guys forggot in the last episode he refures to Cheetara as “…one more thing he doesn’t deserve..”. If you really loved a girl would call her a “thing” that someone doesn’t deserve like she is just another prize that he couldn’t get but Lion-o did.
I don’t think it ruins his character. He learned a lesson; granted one that’d you generally rather not have the experience to go with it but, sometimes people make serious mistakes. Am I saying just brush off what he did? In no way. But from my interactions with family like that, what affects them more than your indignation is a quiet question that makes them think and gets to the heart of the matter. A simple, “Do you hate me?” could be effective. But Lion-O doesn’t know that.
Also, for the rage that Tygra is getting for a really, really bad prank, what about Lion-O’s decision in the premiere to withhold information?
I also like the idea that Balgus supplied. Will have to wait until Friday though to know for sure! 
@Dragon78 : Is it really just the sword that Tygra wants? He’s good with a blade too, but it was more what it represented. I’m going with what someone said in an earlier post somewhere, that he wants her affection with that statement. Or it could just be bad dialogue, like Magi Oar.
Lion-o didn’t tell anyone but Jaga because everyone thought he was crazy and they didn’t think Mumm-ra was real. Lion-o didn’t even recognize Mumm-ra, he only saw his eyes.
I took that a totally different way. I didn’t see her objectifying Cheetara at all in that comment. The comment reveals his inner-thought life - one which is highly self-detrimental. As hard as he may be on Lion-O, he’s even harder on himself. And perhaps that’s a revelation that he knew what he did breaking the tree was wrong and he’s able to see his own darkness and thus feels inadequate for a position that he very much desires.
Suddenly I’m flashing back to Harry Potter. Harry was a good kid but he had a piece of Voldermort’s soul in him that could control him mood at times. Why am I imagining Tygra in the same situation?
Tygra doesn’t seem to be hard on himself like he is on Lion-o, i can’t imagine him telling himself he isn’t worthy of anything. He acts really confident and a bit arrogant.
Like with a piece of Mumm-ra’s? That’d be gross. But i was thinking: Tygus is missing an eye…maybe Mumm-ra put something bad in there so he could control Tygus’ descendants?
