Random thing that I noticed and liked… Pre-teen Cheetara is taller than Tygra. Just a little detail I thought was nifty for a kid’s show, since pre-teen girls have their growth spurts before boys.
I too like how the writers have tied together this episode with the pilot in an unexpected way. Tygra must’ve known that Cheetara was a cleric and was winking at her because they’re friends. The “Cheetara?!” exclamation at the end may have been as simple as he didn’t know the Cleric he was rescuing from Mumm-ra was his friend.
AHHHH!!! This episode is going to be so good! I hope Tygra gets the girl… just sayin.
I don’t anticipate any lightheartedness in this episode, though I did feel as though the past few were a little lighter. Tygra really hasn’t been grumpy towards Lion-O like he was in the first few episodes that aired before the long break and the kittens keep it light with their antics.

I want most of the episode to focus on Cheetara and Tygra backstory. They could use the development and I wouldn’t have minded a slower episode because of it. Then the next episode wouldn’t have the flash back taking away from the battle. Yeah most of the discussion has revolved around the flashback but that battle looks like itll be really good! We got the wileytwins being all covert. I REALLY want some definition on their powers/ strong points.

I think this episode is going to focus more on how Cheetara became a Cleric and partially about Tygra and how he met her in the past. I think the next episode will be when we find out more about Tygra and his past history with the royal family.
You’re probably right. Though the synopsis then would be a little misleading. They synopsis doesnt even say anything about her clerical orgins. If specifically mentions a relationship between Tygra and Cheetara. To me that sounds like a good chunk of the episode will focus on them.
Tygra and Cheetara’s early relationship to one another is revealed.
Though it could be a bit of strategy on the producers part. Hey, shipping has literally devoured most of the fandoms I enjoy. Know what sells :rolleyes:

I have that same feeling, that this will be more a Cheetara episode than a Tygra, or even than a Cheetygra, one.
As long as it focus in other character besides Lion-o, I’m happy if that means the others will start getting the spotlight from now on in some eps.
Actually, just by showing that little word exchange between them, we can say their early relationship has already been revealed 
I’ve had a busy week, and nearly forgot about this week’s episode, and I’m glad I didn’t! The scene between Tygra and Cheetara was delightful and it sounds to me like we are going to see more of Tygra in the upcoming episodes. Where did he come from, how old was he when the Royal Family took him in?
I am loving where this story is going. Shows with this kind of style of storytelling always captivate me and make me want more.
I’m waiting anxiously for 8:30 tonight. My family and I are going to watch Harry Potter 7.2 and I’m going to make us stop at 8:30 just to make sure I GET to see this episode.
