I don’t think Tygra seemed shy in that clip. before Cheetara walked up he was talking to everyone that walked by. he might’ve stammered a bit when he first saw her, but afterwards he chased after her and talked to her.
I saw that Grune business as well. Serious stuff. Will Grune come back in time to the side of the Thundercats?
or is Grune going to try and take the sword to usurp Mumm-Ra, only to fail?

Well I will be the first to put this out there, I hope they don’t make Tygra the cyclops of this show from the first and second X-men films. You guys feel me? I don’t want him always being the dunce cap getting in trouble as a plot device for Lion-o to save the day.
I just meant shy when it comes to a pretty girl its nice to see confidence with flirting with girls came with time, gives Tygra some adorable realism.
Like they did with OS Tygra?
I don’t want him to be turned into that character either. Besides, how weird would it be that Lion-o has to exchange the sword for him, who was captured by his former idol and the murderer of his father?
But it makes kind of sense… if we follow the first episode description. It said Tygra jealousy boils and causes trouble. Maybe out of jealousy he left the group, Grunne captured him and demanded the sword for his life.
I hope not because, as I said, OS Tygra was the designated victim, and I don’t want this Tygra to be it as well.
I would not be surprised if they weren’t boyfriend/girlfriend for a time when they were younger. Perhaps clerics are not permitted to be in such relationships and so perhaps she had to stop seeing Tygra. Wouldn’t that be a great scene to see Jaga walk in on the two young love-birds making out? 
Perhaps shy around a pretty girl, but he had no problems shouting out orders at people passing by, so he was obviously not overall shy. He also got over his shyness and started talking to Cheetara.
I don’t think Tygra as a prince can really be shy, he would have always been in the limelight. I do think it interesting that they put him on guard duty at a young age, you would think at that age he would still have a guard protecting him. Maybe?
You also don’t see hi hand on his lap or beside him in the gap between the two of them. 
I’ve said that. Tygra said, “Cheetara?!” Then Lion-O said, “She’s a cleric?!”
I agree, I’m really excited that we’ll start seeing the staff do more extrodinary things like it did in the OS.
Or what if Tygra betrayed them and gave the sword to Grune? Yeah, somehow I doubt it.
I don’t see Lion-O being shocked or angry, maybe grumpy that once again Tygra had the edge on him.
We don’t see Tygra in the second video clip. Maybe he was captured by Grune and Lion-O gave Grune the sword as a trade for Tygra’s life and this action angered Tygra that once again, Lion-O seems to be too weak to deserve to be king.
He’s not seen in the pics either. I think we might be in the right direction with that theory.
Tygra finds Cheetara chatting with Lion-o and he feels jealous, maybe even betrayed by Cheetara (I know he wouldn’t have a reason for that, but you know how irrational people in love can get lol), so he rants and leaves angry; Grune captures him, and then the life-for-sword exchange. That’s why the ep summary said his jealousy will cause trouble: because of it they lose the sword.
That might either increase his humillation, or reconcile him with his brother.
Hello all! Wow, the preview seems to be out earlier this week- nice! In the second clip? Tygra was there, he did a full-nelson kinda move on a lizard. Was he supposed to be there? That’s an interesting point to bring up. The summary hasn’t changed then? It’s not like Grune isn’t low enough to take a hostage- and he would definitely play it up with Tygra I’d imagine (‘Your only living family etc.’)
It may just be me, but I really look forward to the flashbacks, with anyone. Cute Tygra is cute-blush, stuttering and everything! And wow, Cheetara had her confidence as a child too, awesome! Maybe she had to ‘make her case’ to be a cleric, if they had only been males, and if Tygra followed her in (fail at guarding) he would probably vouch for her to Jaga.
I wonder if Cheetara had a parent who had been a cleric, perhaps they died in the line of duty and now she wants to join them for that reason. Another reason Jaga may reject her - the Jedi reason - she’s too old, they take clerics as infants. I can just hear Jaga say, “Too old to begin the training.” 
I do hope she gives her reason for wanting to join the clerics, hope we learn something about her home and family in the process. I’m still waiting to learn how Tygra came to be adopted by Claudus, who are Tygra’s real parents and did they die or are they still out there somewhere, and what happened to Lion-O’s mom?
Yeah, we do see Tygra in the second video clip. He puts a lizard in a full nelson and then did a full nelson suplex on him.
Actually, now that I think about it from the second clip where the twins react to something at the end, I think the elephants get captured and Lion-O turns over the sword to save them. Tygra gets POed and leaves the group to go after Grune and the lizards to get the sword back while the others go after the spirit stone that Grune was unable to get.
And now for the next question: How long do you think Grune/Mumm-Ra/the villains will keep the Sword?
I could see Tygra handing the sword over to save the elephants and that ticking Tygra off, seeing Lion-O’s action as weakness.
It makes sense why we’ll see Grune and Mumm-Ra in this next episode. I’ll bet every episode in which Lion-O and crew are about to find and capture another stone, Mumm-Ra and Grune will be there.
I’m wondering if Grune will get killed in this series as he was dead in the original. Grune is like Saruman and Mumm-Ra like Sauron and I can just hear Jaga who is like Gandalf warn Grune, “There is only one lord of the sarcophagus, and he does not share power.”
You’re right, I forgot that scene. Which is weird because it made me think of Tygra as a WWF wrestler 
First was that wrestling key he worked over the hunter in “Bebils” and now this one. Makes me think he was trained in combat after all.
Not very. The final still shot shows Lion-O holding the sword and looking dangerous, so I think he’ll have it again by the end of the episode.

What about if Tygra gets captured, Lion-o thinks he’s making a trade, turns over the sword, and gets captured as well.
the two of them captured together, fight amongst themselves first, reconcile their issues with tissues and knock the socks off Mumm-Ra.

why is everyone assuming Lion-O trades the sword for anything? he should know he can’t trust Grune to keep his end of the deal.
on the other hand I could see Lion-O trading it to save the elephants and Tygra arguing against it because he would remember Claudus denying Grune the sword in a similar situation in the premiere. Lion-O, of course, wasn’t with them to see that.
Why would they complain about that? That’s how the OS was.
