mmmm…not sure what to say either…dont see jackalman, slithe, mummra, or anything along those lines…ill reserve my full opinion until i see the episode…sof ar though not impressed or exited by anything in those clips.
I’m not sure what to think but I did give a squeal when Tygra saved Cheetara… I couldn’t help it! Oh new part for my NanoWrimo is coming up now.

Besides the magic students are kinda cute too. 
Even I have to admit the absence of Mumm-Ra, Grune and Ssslithe is a bit odd… and makes little sense. Afterall the cartoon is meant to be selling the new toys as well as entertaining kids…

Only just seen these, watched them as I added them to this site’s Facebook page - yeah, I must admit, by now I think they need to be bringing the series’ main villains, Mumm-Ra, S-S-Slithe and Grune, back into the mix… 
The problem with these continual guest stars / guest villains, whilst they’re awesome, is that no one ever gets chance to get attached to any of them before the ThunderCats move on and another bunch come into the frame. 
However, as with all things I’ll reserve judgement until I see the episode - based on the preview stuff I wasn’t expecting to love “Song of the Petalars” anywhere near as much as I did!

It’s funny, Tygra and I shared the same reaction.
“Did they just defeat them with…paper?”
Only in my head it was more of a bemused groan.
Perhaps I’ll warm up to the Origami Warriors after seeing the show, but from that clip the idea just doesn’t click with me. The “new Third Earth inhabitant of the week” formula is getting old fast. They have so much material from the old series to reimagine and yet they continue to introduce these obscure characters that aren’t all that compelling.
Hopefully this episode surprises me and is at least better than “Sight Beyond Sight”.
i think some of the crew might be fans of Read or Die.
I think I’ll like this episode. doesn’t seem as “cutesy” as they have recently. the only thing I didn’t like was the guy announcing what he was doing while he faught. that’s always annoyed me. I like that for once Lion-O can’t just rely on the sword (though I thought the elephants said its powers would be amplified there.) If episode 13 is the end of this arc though Mumm-Ra and company are probably being held in reserve for episode 12 and 13 when they find the stone. at least that’s what I’m hoping
and something tells me these “wood forgers” might actually be the bad guys this episode. the synopsis says they have a dark secret. and consider this: they live in a forrest and fight with paper. where does it all come from? maybe the spirits were trying to defend the forrest.
anyway I like what I see in these previews. I think I’ll enjoy it.

The more I watch this series the more I dislike Tigra’s character in this incarnation. He reminds me of every cliche rival in countless animes wich I can’t think of one I liked.
1st clip: kinda meh, a little more of the same thing we’ve seen so far IMO… does every guy the TCs find have to talk and sound the same way?
I’m getting tired of Lion-o always relying on the SoO and thinking so much of himself because of it.
2nd clip: better. Tygra saving Cheetara and the look she gave him afterwards while in his arms 
… wonder if that is a hint about their mutual attraction, or about Cheetara starting to get interested on him, or something like that.
Same here, both about sharing Tygra’s reaction, and about the “Third Earth’s inhabitant of the week” lol
Dunno, it could be that she was a bit dazed from being caught by a guy in armor (still softer than the ground.) or she was surprised and was expecting to have a nasty landing from being pulled out of that giant bird’s beak like that. It’s still a bit ambiguous and could be a red herring kind of hint like the last episode. I’m kind of hesitant to think anything of Cheetara’s interest until we actually see something more that shows her interest in Tygra that can’t be misconstrued as something else.
Also, loved Cheetara’s reaction to her staff breaking.
For the lulz man. I dunno if it’s from finally finishing school or what but I was cracking up during those clips, then tried to explain to my gma what it was about, and she started laughing. I am looking forward to the episode.
OMG Lion-O, your sword doesn’t work, gee what will you do now? More hinting at T/C and WOW they have lines this ep it seems! We’ll see how many tomorrow.
And yeah, I’d be dazed from a fall like that, but what a nice face to look at before you lose consciousness.
+1 . As much as I love the idea, we haven’t had any solid indication on Cheetara’s side.
In both previews, it looks like the Sword isn’t responding to Lion-O. How can he master Sight Beyond Sight if he can’t connect with it?

My guess is that the sword is probably helping Lion-O grow stronger by helping him become not as reliant on it for every situation.
Did the “leader” of those warriors sound like James Avery from Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air a bit?

Yes. I forgot to mention that, but loved it.
So their weapons can get broken now… interesting. I know they never said they couldn’t in the OS, but I always had the impression they were unbreakable.
So… maybe Tygra makes her a new one, and that’d be the moment
Or of the OS episode “Good and Ugly”… I got that uimpression too, byut might be wrong.
When the leader started talking about “with a stroke of my brush”, I immediately thought of Shinkenger (Power Rangers Samurai in the U.S.).
