I hope you are correct that they make multiple waves. Maybe now I can get some of the secondary characters that so many company’s could not create. Beside the fact they are doing this “stupid” mystery box method, I am a big fan of this line. Has anyone found a slithe or a golden lion-o yet?

These were a pain to find at target. Super target didn’t carry any Loyal subjects at all. Finally found them with trading cards at two different other targets. One of them had only the general release though. My luck at not getting doubles at hot topic and tru finally ran out as ran into double city with target lol. Consolation prize is I can use the claw with red lion o to make my own Ljn lion o for now lol.

I really wish we knew if Loyal Subjects had a plan to release a 2011 colors Tygra. I’m a little hesitant to collect that series of repaints, if I don’t know that he is coming. I hate when a line doesn’t give me all four of the main cats (Looking at you, Mattel and Bandai!!!). Maybe he could be an SDCC item? I would also love to see LJN colors for Jaga, Vultureman and Ssslithe, but I’m thankful we are getting the 4 main cats, Mumm-ra and a couple mutants in these colors.

That’s money on the table right there. I’m sure it’s why this line has been so successful since they are working on core characters first. The ljn versions themselves are a nice bonus. One thing they have a good opportunity for with a wave 2 is doing Luna and would look and work in this style to go with classics versions as well.
I think this line is great and I really like the sculpt, paint and overall quality of the figures. I’m not a fan of the artificial rarity of the chases, but that’s okay as I have no need for the “Battle Damage”, “Metallic”, “Neon” or whatever they cook up. I just want the cartoon colours and I’m happy (I do think the LJN versions are awesome!)! I hope they continue with more secondary characters!

I agree, the LJN colors are great, but the prices of those figure variations online is wild for what your getting. I am happy with just getting new figures and maybe a complete series with a variety of characters.
Does anyone have a status update for the slithe distribution at Walgreens? Also does anyone know if slithe is the last unique figure to be released (excluding variations) for wave 1?

Walgreens was originally the first retailer to sell the Thundercats, but as of yet, still have not put them out for sale. So no one knows when they will be released. I would guess Slithe is the last unique character for now that we know of.

Sorry if this was answered already, but what’s up with the Target Panthro’s eyebrows? Why are they white?
I am also not a huge fan of Panthro’s white eyebrows! Not sure what the thinking was there… If he is meant to resemble LJN Panthro, he would have no eyebrows at all!

In some pictures of ljn panthro I saw on eBay it can appear as white eyebrows depending on lighting. So let’s go ljn version with lighting effect paint apps. Lol

Every Target in my area has the General Release TC, but NOT their exclusive set. I bought a couple cases but no luck on GOD Jaga!
