Thundercats by Loyal Subjects

It would appear as though Loyal Subjects may have obtained the license for Thundercats. I am not overly familiar with the company myself, but they do appear to make some very cool vinyl figures.

Thanks for sharing that news, adssse. I too have never heard of the company, but it’s always exciting to look forward to new ThunderCats products!

Their other products look quite nice. Also, how coo is it that it isn’t more statues.

A company called The Loyal Subjects obtaining the ThunderCats license? Well, it appears loyalty definitely suits them. :panthro

They make cool vinyl toys!

Jonathan Cathey, the CEO of Loyal Subjects sent me the following info about what they have planned for the license:

“Action Vinyls like our other collectibles - tons of articulation, great sculpt details, blindbox, collector’s cards, chase figures. Definitely going to be awesome =)”

I think the ThunderCats license is in good hands.

The only thing I don’t like is the whole blind box thing. You could buy 5 figures and end up with 5 of the same character.

I agree. I would much prefer to know exactly what I am buying.

What I don´t like, more than the blind bag thing, are the chase figures

Was there anything at Toy Fair about these?

Just found this on EE.

Wow, I was hoping to pick these up but apparently had no idea how much they cost. Unfortunately I don’t have that kind of cash to spare.

I haven’t yet seen or heard much about the ThunderCats that Loyal Subjects are planning to make, but I saw this pic of their TMNT line on the web and thought that they were pretty cool. I kinda prefer their “cutesy” look over Pop! Funko’s but not a big fan of the way the turtles look. The head seems a bit “alienish”. And splinter looks more like “Brain” from “Pinky and the Brain” cartoon show. But Bebop, ROcksteady and Leatherhead look wicked!!! Would love to get my hands on those.

I like the new MOTU ones they produced. But at $15 each, may be a pass. Will have to see what they look like. I passed on the Thundercats POPS! Just cant collect everything!

Don´t worry, weeks later the prices will go down. The TMNT ones are cheaper now thant the time they hit the stores

Was surprised to see no mention or word of these at SDCC. Entertainment Earth is still listing these as coming in November - you would think we would of heard something by now?

I was thinking the same thing…very strange.

Slash looks pretty cool.
