These are beginning to get my attention more and more. Do you guys think there will be a second wave with kit & kat, Grune and the new cats? I’m not sure how TLS works but as far as I remember there was a second wave for MOTU too?

I have no doubt as there will be a second wave. Thundercats seems to be one of their most popular lines (According to fans on the facebook group). However it takes them a while to make a second wave MOTU second wave is still not out yet, but coming this year. Thy like to do a million color variations and retailer exclusives first.

I absolutely LOVE these. I hope there is a wave two with the rest. I’m looking forward to the ‘regular’ releases of the Cats. Although the metallic ones are pretty cool. I am still in shock I got Jaga from both Hot Topic and Walmart!

Regular release is starting to hit Think Geek/Gamestop. Any employee at a store should be able to look them up/order for you…

Someone just posted on FB they bought some of these at Thinkgeek, and when they opened the Lion-O a Snarf was with him? Anyone heard anything on Snarf? Is he a pack in with Lion-O, he does not show on the box at all.

So excited for these!!! I have some on preorder from Big Bad Toy Store, but if I can find them in the wild first, I will cancel my preorder. I’m surprised none are on eBay yet. I’m a sucker for the toy colors variants (loved those with the Turtles and MOTU sets) so I am definitely going to be trying for a set of those as well as the regulars. Do we know yet if there is an LJN repaint of Mumm-ra or Panthro? Also, I know Ssslithe will be showing up at Walgreens, but do we know where Jackalman and Vultureman will show up? I know Target and ToysRus have had sets in the past…

There will be an LJN Version of Mumm-ra, not sure what store tho. Vulturerman is in the Toys R Us set.

So they are re-releasing the Mumm-Ra the Ancient figure in this too? Anyone know if the one in this one is any type of variation? If not, that is weird since a regular Mumm-Ra the Ancient was already released with the Wal-mart battle damaged ones. A toy store on instagram said that they should be getting these in this week. Hopefully that is true.

There is a LJN variation Panthro. At least going by pictures I have seen. If Vultureman is showing up in the Toys R’ Us pack out then perhaps Jackalman will be in with Targets. I dont know that for a fact, just guessing since it seems like the logical guess.

Some of the $9 mark down walmarts are now starting to mark them down to $5. I picked up 5 today for $26. Can’t beat that.

I just picked up some of the Standard/ General edition figures. Snarf does indeed come packed with Lion-O. The only difference between the Mummy The Ancient in the this release is the checklist card insert that comes with the figure. The bio is the same but the picture is posed differently. The case came with 2 of every figure with the exception I pulled a Neon Cheetara instead of a second Tygra.

Found something out while seeing how the Neon Cheetara looked under a blacklight… the Sword of Omens included in this is Glow-in-the-dark. Id post the pictures I took but im not sure how to include it in the post now.

I have a case of the standard series coming in the next couple days. I’m really crossing my fingers for the neon Lion-o or Spirit of Jaga to be in there! I wonder when the next series will hit. Monkian is looking a little lonely on the shelf…

So, the ToysRus set has dropped now too! It looks like the Thundercats and Jaga are the regular releases, but this one also has LJN Mumm-ra and 2 versions of Vultureman (who has to be called “Henchman” for copyright reasons). I’m super-excited to add Vultureman, but I’m starting to worry about the Walgreen’s set. It was supposed to be first, I thought. I hope it didn’t get scrapped! I need my SSSlithe!
