They had Jetsons and Flintstones. Then, GI Joe and Transformers (in the comics). Would it not have been awesome if there was a Thundercats and Silverhawks crossover movie where all the good guys and bad guys brawled! Yeah!
It looks like they had at least toyed with the idea of doing a cross over, or at least some cross promotion since that infamous “Thunderforce” poster exists.

That would have been so awesome! Those 2 are my fav toons/toylines from the 80s.
Same company,same voice actors,same format,same producers,the main philosophy was equivalent to thunercats…but silverhawks were to a lower place as an animated television series,this space western science fiction material had limited standards.I´ve never been a fun of the series but probably a crossover wouldn´t be a bad idea like the Thundercats/Battle of the planet comic by wildstorm:D
As I remember, a few of the SilverHawks characters sounded almost exactly like a few of the ThunderCats characters. So, while a ThunderCats/SilverHawks cross-over might have been a good idea in theory, it had the potential for causing some confusion for young viewers.
Truthfully, I was never a huge fan of Silverhawks. To me, it was just T-Cats in Space, and not really that great. Theme song was awesome though.
But to me it had the same problem that American Dad has in regards to its predecessor Family Guy. Its just too similar.
I’ve never seen Silverhawks other than watched the intro on youtube. I don’t know if they showed it in Finland when I grew up, but now looking at it I just don’t see the thrill of it. Guess somethings you gotta see as a kid to like em… No offense to you Silverhawk fans. I remember watching He-man again as an adult and at first I was kinda surprised that I liked it as a kid since it didn’t seem that great anymore. However a few episodes later it started feeling like the good ol’ toon again.
Silverhawks just doesn’t seem as popular but I really loved that show as much as Thundercats.
I would love to see a crossover of the two properties. Or the two properties to be in an all encompasing universe, along with Tigersharks. That would be the perfect thing to do.
However, I think Thundercats is big enough to carry its own property so the chance of seeing the other two is very doubtful. But if the eventual return of Thundercats is successful then I hope they look into a collective universe including Silverhawks.
While on Silverhawks, is there an online fan community? I have been looking for one for Silverhawks and one for Centurions but I have so far been unsuccessful
