Does anyone know why we don’t see the insignia’s yet? Is it because they’re not officially Thundercats yet? Or is it just laziness?
I hope it is not laziness! That would be horrible! I hope they will get their insignias when they are together for a longer time and are used to each other!
Give it 4 or 5 more episodes and I hope they will finally get them.

I’d say they’ll get their insignias when they reach the Tower of Omens or find the Book of Omens. The episode “Legacy” sounds like a good candidate.

Thanks for the info! But for technical reasons? Come on! Nowadays it shouldn’t be so difficult to but that Thundercats logos on their red badges. Let’s play the waiting game! I desperately hope they will come up later in the story!

Grune has Mumm-Ra’s insignia on his badge so assumably the 'Cats will eventually get their symbol…
My assumption is that, as Lion-O grows into wielding and controlling the Eye of Thundera (even in this version, still the “source of the Thundercats’ power”), and perhaps doing it as Lord of the Thundercats for the first time in a very long time, those insignias will come to those joined with him.
The toys, too, have them all emblazoned on them as well. I have a feeling as the back story gets fleshed out, this will all come out.
My theory is that those jewels or whatever they are will bear the insignia whenever Lion-O makes the Call. So whenever the signal is lit, Thundercats will know it.

My guess is it has something to do with the Stones of Power.
That’s my guess as well and in the next episode, they’re referred to as crystals so they’re some kind of stone.
Maybe they just thought the symbols look lame. I mean it is a very cheesy 80’s ish thing to do. Like removing the anagram buckles on the TMNT’s belts. No one needs a D on Donny’s belt to know it’s him. No one needs a cat face on a red disc to know their thundercats. I mean personally I love the look of the symbol, and I mean Lion-O did carve it into the stone with a hot sword of Omens. Which kind of ticked me off, he shouldn’t be abusing such a sacred sword like that. But I digress. The symbol has been seen, it is like a flag banner. Do all American’s wear the red white and blue stars and stripes when they travel the world? yeah.. no. LOL So my guess would be, they removed some cheese. :panthrohappy:
I doubt they thought they looked lame. Not only was it in the carving, but the symbol was all over the place in the Thunderian architecture.
I do wonder why Lion-O needed to heat the sword to cut through the rock though. Maybe the blade can’t cut through as much as in the OS.
@LioConvoy: No one is panicking over the smallest little thing, but it’s a big thing for me if these insignias are not there! Period! I liked it in the OS and I want them back as they stand for the Thundercats! I think they will be back in the near future but it’s no crime or being an idiotic fanboy to talk about it now!
I don’t believe anyone is panicking, more like nitpicking. A passionate fan cannot help but pick apart the little things. I agree it’s best to just sit back and enjoy the knew ride. Or just be grateful we’re getting anything Thundercats at all. I showed my sister the two part special beginning and she just kept picking at it bit by bit and part by part. Finally I had to say to her, It’s not the same show. It wouldn’t be interesting if they just regurgitated the original in new animation. Heck it’d be an insult to the OS. I had to convince her it’s the show re-imagined. With a fresh new take on old concepts. She enjoyed it, but afterward, she kept saying, i’m just a die hard fan. I’m like, dude, I’m a die hard fan… gggrrrr, but i guess different people show their passion differently. I can except a new version if it’s done right. So far episodes 1&2 are good, 3 is slacking. Four better pick up the pace.
Personally it doesn’t matter to me if they get their sigils or not. All I care about is when Lion-O powers up that sword their eyes all glow and they “know” and they too power up. That’s what matters to me. The swords abilities corresponding with the cats. One of the best parts about the sword of Omens is how it gave them all a power charged boost. It restores their faith in themselves and in their king.
Which reminds me i keep seeing conversations about Tygra throwing over Lion-O or trying to take the throne some junk like that. It wont, happen, it can’t happen. Even if he does, the sword of omens won’t work for him, and we all know he who holds the sword holds the kingdom in his hands. To over throw Lion-O would be an act of evil, so the sword, wont comply.
Has anyone here ever read ElfQuest? I don’t know how many people are readers in this forum, so I don’t know who’s in the know when it comes to ElfQuest. (one of thee most fabulous fantasy story’s ever written) In ElfQuest, a young elf named Cutter, looses his chieftain father and must take up the lead at a very young age. He is a thinker, a man of action, a man who does not fallow in traditions wake. This upsets one of his elders, an elf who’s just a bit more seasoned than him. Strongbow. Strongbow is keeper of the way, so to speak, he challenges Cutter every time he feels Cutter might screw up the whole tribe. Keeps Cutter on his toes. He’s not a villain or an enemy, he’s a trusted and respected friend. But when Cutter gets it into his head to drag the tribe on wild adventures that might endanger their very existence, Strongbow is their to challenge him. This I believe will be Tygra’s role to Lion-O now. A voice of caution, reason, a voice that says, think twice man, look what you’re doing to those who fallow you. I’m not saying that Tygra will know what’s best all the time, goodness knows Strongbow doesn’t, but to have someone making Lion-O pause and think is a good idea.
I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re there in the future because they’re on the toys. I think if they were going to leave them as empty red circles then the toys would reflect that as well. Just an observation.
I’m not really worried about it one way or the other. We haven’t even seen Lion-O need to summon the others but then they haven’t left his side. I’m just excited and can’t wait to see what they do next. 
Back in January the presenter in London’s Toy Fair said that they’ll gain insignia later in the series.
