Funny stuff, I laughed when hearing about your first purchase manny, Tuska and about Neil in a cardboard box with his MOC T-Cats figures, haha The show was great, very in dephth and informative. This was the first T-Cats podcast I’ve heard and I have to admit I’m gonna have to get used to so many British accents at once
Thats what classic stuff is made up of. I couldnt help myself but to picture Neil in a cardboard box with all his MOC friends. And yes Tuska was my first purchase and i think it was followed by the Mumm-Ra mummy. At the time i was just planning on completing the main characters and look where that got me
Sorry, guys, I’m not set up to receive a podcast because I don’t own an iPod, so I missed your discussion. I’ll settle for a transcript of it, though, as well as photographs of you.:cheetaraveryhappy:
I still haven’t heard everything (I only listened to 1/3 of it) yet but I am enjoying it a lot! It’s the best Thundercats yet, you guys are getting better!
I also noticed you used that orchestral intro that EternalKnight posted, nice choice! It gives an even better “TLC feel” to the episodes, since everything there is fan-made!
Hey Chris, thanks for mentioning me when you talked about Mr. Larry Kenney participation on the Giveaway!
I also enjoyed the general laughter when the TUSKA was mentioned! “The worst figure ever”.
I think you guys didn’t understand what they wanted when LJN created the TUSKA. That was one of the first figures on the market for army builders of the 80’s! MannyC says he hates the figure but his little girl has an army of Tuskas, right? Come on MannyC, you do love the Tuska, confess it!
A little off-topic now, but I have to mention this: We are fortunate to belong to a generation that saw the rise of the Internet and all the possibilities it layed upon us. I remind when I had dial-up back in 1995 and it took ages to download an mp3 and Google webpage still had an ugly logo, a pencil-made swimming goggles, and all websites were full with animated gifs that made you go crazy!
Now people from different parts of the world can connect using some software and create something so nice like this podcast! Our children will grow up in a world where all this “already exists” just like cell-phones and it’s up to us to tell them how it was “back then”.
It makes me feel kinda old an now I can relate to my grandpa, who yesterday was telling me that when he used to travel the country to sell leather his car had a winch… and nowadays his son car has a GPS!
