Just a reminder, we had daylight savings time today so I’m not sure if these times reflect the change.
Either case, I’ll be online early on just in case anyone wants to test anything out prior to the recording.
These times do reflect the change. Ill be there early to test my headset since it seems last time I had some problems.
I am good, lets hope it works straight away, as I wouldn’t like to go too late into the evening…
Your right Manny! I’ve only just found out now that you guys put your clocks forward an hour by my mum!
This means that 12 midnight here in the UK = 8pm ET and 5pm PT time!
Why can’t anything go according to plan hey? :duh: lol
I’m not gonna be able to get on until a little after midnight
and I think this is gonna now pose a problem for some folks who needed to go early.
MannyC/MannyF can you let me know if this is still ok? Otherwise we might have to reschedule.
Works for me, Im on Skype now if anyone can help me with testing to make sure i sound ok
Yeah it might be a problem if I have to go to church. If I can get out of it, then it wouldn’t be a problem. Kyle can do the recording if I cannot attend.
If I don’t get echo’s then yep…its cool il do it
Chris here…
Just a heads-up to say I expect to be free and logged on to Skype in about 20 minutes time - so, about 00:10am UK time! Hope that’s OK, everyone - speak to you then! ![]()
Take care… ![]()
Just a quick note to thank everyone for attending the recording and for MannyF being understanding about my error on the times. Hopefully the next episode Manny will be there for sure!
Like I said to everyone I honestly think it went better than I expected and I think I pulled the hosting off ok. It wasn’t 100% perfect, things I would have done differently, but I think I could have been much, much worse! lol
I think everyone did an amazing job and made excellent points. We covered just about everything I planned and anything we missed can definately be covered in episode 2 seeing as it’s the DVD review of S1V1. My only concern is that me and Chris spoke too much! lol In hindsight I really should have involved MannyC and Kyle much more than I did. In the next episode I promise to shut up and let others speak a bit more!
Anyway can’t wait to see what comes out of the chaos!
Kyle: Like I said during recording, there is no rush to get the editing done because we still need to work on the webpages for Thundercast (which I could do while we are waiting for the episode to be edited!) Like I said I’m just pleased we got the first episode nailed down and recorded. I think that alone qualifies us as being more than halfway there!
Cool job everyone and thanks Kyle for doing the recording! Oh Kyle, when you edit, the clips to be edited into the episode can be found here:
www.thundercatslair.org/thundercast
and details of where abouts they go can be found in my Thundercast Script thread found here:
http://www.thundercatslair.org//forums/showthread.php?t=1948
Though I’m sure the positioning of most of the clips will be pretty self explanatory based on the conversation points in the recording.
So can’t wait for the recording of the next episode! lol
Chris here…
I haven’t much to add to Neil’s excellent summary, except can I give a big shout-out to the legend that is Mr. Kyle Lambert for staying up so late so that we could complete the podcast - thanks Kyle, you did a fantastic job as always, my friend! ![]()
Looking forward to hearing the finished product! ![]()
Take care… ![]()
