We all know what Whiskers equates to, we really don’t have to say it. But it seem there are people who are getting tired of it (I like it, and just want more people to saying it). I wonder what else would be a cuss word in Thundera.

It just a word to exclaim, It doesn’t has to mean something bad, remember other series has words as holy whatever or hell …
You can say anything you want even invent your word if you said with style you will get the message across.
It would help to have gods and ancient heros. Consider Galaxy Quest’s “By Grapthor’s Hammer!” Not necessarily a curse, but an exclamation. We could have “By Panthera’s Pout!” or “By Leo’s Locks!”

I think it could “equate” to a great many things, not necessarily anything bad. Most people have some kind of word they say in various situations. Some can be considered foul language, others not.
I don’t like “Whiskers” though. Maybe it’s the way he says it. It sounds weird.
So far, it looks like whiskers is going to be said at the end of the first segment of each show.
I’ve said it before, but I prefer the explicative from the OS.

“Keep your foot off that blasted Samophlange” sounds a lot better than “Keep your foot off that whiskery Samoplange.” lol
yeah, Terry McGui…i mean Lion-O is a big fan of the word. it really could be assumed to mean any number of expletives if one chose to do so
similar to Transformers Beast Wars when Optimus Primal would say “well that’s just prime”. it really could be a replacement for pretty much any profane expression you saw fit to think it means
whiskery Samoplange. That’s too funny. I actually did lol.
I never took that as profanity. It was sarcasm. Like if someone said, “Well isn’t that just fine and dandy.”
and thats the thing. it can be interpreted however you see fit.
same with “whiskers”. it means whatever you personally interpret it to mean, be it profane or not.
perhaps a better example would be Shaggy saying “zoinks”. it doesnt really mean anything, but it COULD mean just about anything

I liked “Oh…by Jaga” too. 
I’m getting a tiny bit bored with the weekly “Whiskers…” cut to commercials. But if we got to see, say, Tygra, for example, stub his toe on something in the background and hiss out a pained “Whiskers!”, I’d think it was amusing. It’s just gotten a bit predicatable now.
As for actual Thunderan swear words, I’m guessing it’s pretty much filth, death and what most of our Earth cultures use while swearing. But since this is a cartoon that is supposed to be okay for kids to watch, our heros aren’t allowed to swear.
If having a tail is supposed to be a lower class thing, I wonder if the upper had some sort of “Your tail is showing” remark for those they look down upon.
Barring that, I don’t mind whiskers.
Probably because nothing indicates that’s how whiskers works as a swear.
Given the way Lion-O uses it, it’s like droping and S-boom when your in a situiton you don’t wantto be in.
There’s a difference, though. Just because something is circumstantially similar doesn’t necessarily mean it operates exactly the same as what it’s source word is. I’d argue that’s the wrong source word too, probably due to the fact many swear words in American and British English suffer an osmosis of definition.
Whiskers doesn’t HAVE to be something that must meet the grammatical requirements of “****” (especially because it’s only been used like the word “damnit”).
The word itself used as an exclamation doesn’t bother me, it is how it is used that I hate. It is not used as a forceful exclamation.
Out of the whole show, it is the only thing I do not like. Luckily, I can easily overlook it and still enjoy the show
Well in the premiere Claudus did say, “By Thundera.”
I like it, it’s another proud member of Barely Sensical Cartoon Swears (“Slag!”, “Jalapena!”).
Personally, I didn’t like hearing “Whiskers!” the first time and I’m even less fond of it now. It sounds too much like Whiskas, which is a brand of cat food. I’d rather hear one of the 'Cats hiss or say something that has more punch to it.
