That’s the first thing I thought: “Snow Meow!!”
I’m really liking the landscapes and the redesigns. It’s just enough of a touch up to make them look updated as opposed to a complete overhaul where you would lose all resemblance to the original characters on the show. As soon as I saw the page I immediately recognized all of the Third Earth inhabitants that were on the original show, and that’s a good thing.

Oh my GOD that art is insanely good. There isn’t a cartoon show out now that could match that. Just think of what that will look like in 1080 HD too. Studio 4*C is doing -everything- right here.
Could the cat also be Kano? I don’t think it looks right for Snow-Meow…
Could be Kano I suppose, but Kano’s design had a little more to it than Snow-meow. he had saber teeth and those spikes on his back and stuff. except for the fact that he has no saddle and the tail is thicker he looks just like Snow-meow to me. shrugs
Maybe it’s more of me hoping it isn’t Snow-Meow, as he’s meant to be white and not blue.
Perhaps its just some generic cat species that lives on Third Earth?
So I do see a lot of familiar creatures/faces but can someone help figure out what species they represent?
The Berbils are obvious, and the elephant species is definately new. What about the other ones?

Snowmeow has always been a light blue. Tho that creature is a little bit darker.
As for the species on the page I’m not entirely sure all of those were in the original. First guy is obviously a lizard man, and under him looks like a Trollog. the dude on the bottom right could be a Gigantor. other than that I don’t recognize anything.
I think it looks more like Snow Meow. It doesn’t look right to me to be Kano. And didn’t Kano have a saber tooth?
I wonder if the people in the bottom left are supposed to be Micrits.
I find the character in the middle interesting,the one who has a sword sheath on his back that’s as wide as his body.
I hope they explain how the Berbils came into existance because being robots means they didn’t have a natural creation.
The Drifter’s Hut makes me think of Hagrid’s Hut.
Bottom right looks like a giantor or bruteman

I’m pretty sure the flower creatures had an episode in the old series aswell
Top left looks like one of the Slithe crew
The one next to the huge sword is the character that helped jackelman in “Jackelmans rebellion”
Middle left is a Trollog. the design is almost exactly the same as the original right down to the arm band.
I thought the flower people might be micrits too. But its enough of a change that I’m not sure.
And I kinda like the dog looking dude with the sword too. he looks interesting. as do the fish people.
If that green dude on the right wasn’t green I’d think he was an under-earth person, but the green makes me think he’s one of Slithe’s lizard men.
I like the fish people’s ship too. If they hadn’t of put that description, I might have thought it belonged to the Berserkers.
I recognized the Trollog and I agree that the guy in the lower right looks like a Gigntor. Also the character to the right of the trollog who looks like some kind of hog creature with perhaps a money pouch on his belt, he looks familiar to me but I can’t think of which character in the OS reminds me of him.
The elephants make me think of the old Babar the Elephant cartoon.

…That scenery is really awe inspiring. Species of 3rd Earth look fantastic too, and that cat definitely reminds me of Snow-Meow.
And I just want to say… IGN needs a new comment system. Hurts my brain reading the comments on these Thundercats articles. They’re completely out of order. 4 days ago, then 3 days ago, then 6 days ago, then an hour ago, etc, etc. o.O

Nice to see (what I think are) the Micrits, Snow-Meow, a gigantor and a trollog.
Stray random thought again. Maybe The Berbils this time around, being part machine themselves, are the ones who help the Thundercats get acquainted with technology.
I had the same reaction “Wow Snow Meow!?!?!”.
Loving the look of the inhibitants of Third Earth and the landscapes look beautiful and have an epic sort of scale to them.
