I just ran across something that I think is worth sharing.
In “Return to Thundera”, when Lion-O confronts the guards at the city entrance, I had always heard the guard’s line as “A sword against ray pistols? This Thunderian is mad!”
But, in perusing the scripts over at Purrsia’s site, I discovered a line of dialogue that was written but not used in the final episode. On page 14, one guard says, “You are a Plun-Darrian in disguise come to raid our dying planet!”
What’s the big deal? Well, if you listen more carefully to the “sword against ray pistols” line, it becomes clear that the guard is actually saying, “This Plun-Darrian is mad!” Pretty cool, huh? I always wondered why those guards were so anxious to attack someone wearing a ThunderCat insignia. Turns out they thought he was an enemy in disguise!
