Third planet from the sun, blue-green planet, I’d have to look at Exodus again but do you not see mars, saturn Jupiter etc when Panthro shows everyone on the flagship where their destination is? So obviously meant to be Earth.
As for future or past you have the whole Mumm-ra thing - “I remember when this was still First Earth”, and the King Arthur and Excalibur thing being in the distant past.
(Unless you go on the whole Robert Jordon view of things that it’s all happened before in which case it could be in the distant past. In which case the thundercats would be coming back again. Yay!! ha ha ha)
Just to also add, Mandora (in Mandora: Evil Chaser) mentioned a little known chemical substance the ancients named ‘soap’ So if it is Earth, then I say it’s the future Earth. By ‘ancients’ I guess she is talking about us
