I just came across one characteristic on the Mumm-Ra’s that could possibly tell which one was released earlier than the other. Now this is just a theory and its only speculation. The picture below shows 2 Mumm-Ra’s. On the left is the dark accessory Mumm-Ra which we all know was released only as an 8 back with battery offer and the one on the right is a standard colored Mumm-Ra. Now if you look closely at the bottom of the feet the one on the left is less detailed than the one on the right. Notice how the toes are not as sharp as the ones on the right. Also notice by the toes on the left figure that there is a curved line that runs along the toes while the one on the right has a straight line. Everything on the right figure is more detailed…Now I even asked my wife on what she thought was the earliest released out of both and she thought the same as I did. Perhaps the later sculpts had sharper shapes, who knows but this is sure an inetersting point. Judge for yourself…your thoughts as well.
