Theories and Guesses

I remembered in flashbacks where when Lion-O and Tygra were kids, they didn’t have tails and when you see Cheetara as a prepubescent, she didn’t have a tail, either. In my opinion, having a tail is like a genetic disorder among the Cats and, thus, are treated like lepers, or something like that. I don’t know.

I think the cats’ religion (and the other animals’ religions) is based on polytheism with a hint of Pantheism. In Native son, Lion-O’s mother was a woman of faith, believing that the gods had blessed her with two sons; polytheism. Then, in New Alliances, you hear Panthro exclaiming “Great Sky Cat,” showing that there is some pantheism, or monotheism, in the cat’s religion.

That one thing that my friend and I noicted the tails pop up on random people.

Question - I can’t remember either way, did Wilykit & Wilykat’s parents have tails?

Yes, they did.

Right. I figured they ought to. Meaning Panthro’s tail will almost certainly have been lost in battle, as opposed to some freak mutation.

I’m hoping there would be other races of cats featured in the show, if it comes back. We’ve never seen any ocelots, have we? Also, we don’t know anything about the clans because, all we know is that the Tiger Clan were banished and became demons until Lion-O and Tygra ended the curse, and that the Lion Clan rules over Thundera. We need more information and we need to know more about the other clans.

they hinted at that a little hear and a little thear. moneys on tech cats the same way thear was two bird kingdoms.

I bet El-Dara is some sort of technologically-advanced city of cats that broke off from Thundera because of how the inhabitants abhor technology.

just relived if it a nother cat kingdom they my fight over the sword of has the right to weild it tech cats or thunder cat that a good two eps just there.

If ThunderCats is renewed, do you think they’ll feature an episode where Lynx-O makes is first appearance since the pilot. Like if Lynx-O appears, he would be the leader of an enclave of Thunderian survivors and when he meets the ThunderCats he would be all critical to them, calling them the “New ThunderCats” because of them being a new generation of ThunderCats since the Fall of Thundera and because they do not practice the Code of Thundera. He would criticize each of them of their flaws; Tygra for being arrogant and bigoted, Cheetara for abandoning her role as cleric, Panthro for his fears, and Lion-O for being hot-headed. The only ones he doesn’t criticize are the twins because of them being kids; however, he does show Lion-O some respect because of how his kind, caring personality helps him lead the ThunderCats and how he views all the inhabitants of Third-Earth as equals. Also, because of how he freed a group of Thunderian slaves from Ratar-O at Mount Plun-Darr.

Just a few theories here:

  1. What if Ratar-O’s vehicle in the OS, the Ratstar, was an almost Death Star like weapon that ultimately led to Ratar-O’s untimely demise?

  2. Since pride was the maid flaw of the Tiger Clan, what if the main flaw for the White Tigers (i.e. Bengali) was that they had bigger than life egos (to the point where Tygra would even grow weary of their arrogance) but were not always able to back up what they said? (For example: Bengali likes to flex his muscles a lot, but is actually a far less competent fighter than WilyKat)

  3. What if Baron Tass in this series was a social climbing member of the Royal court who would do anything to get on the King’s (i.e. Lion-O’s) good side

  4. Since it’s pretty obvious at this point that Mumm-Ra cannot count on the aide of the Dogs or the Birds (most likely, they both would side with Lion-O now), that really only leaves the Monkeys to aid to his army

I don’t known about that the dived for the dogs and birds are close they could go ether way and remeber there are factionce in play in the groups as a hole and the lizerds are a standing army wha’l the cats have been doing hit and ran for the most part.

That may not be entirely true. The dogs and birds may have individual clans, the same as the cats. We’ve seen the tigers living in isolation from the rest of the cats, maybe the jackals could be isolated from the other dogs? (Yes, I know Kaynar was in a dog city prison when we first found him, but that doesn’t mean the city was automatically his home).

much better said.
