Thanks, buddy! I just scanned the 7 drawings, used Photoshop to cut out the blast-effects and put them together with Windows Movie Maker :biggrin
Very nice sequence!
You just gained a new subscriber in myself (Philip Gipson).
Haha, thanks, buddy! I wasnt planning on starting a channel, but it was the easiest way to share this clip. Now I’ll have to do more video’s, right? ![]()
A side by side with the finished frames would be cool.
For sure. ^.^
Agreed. ![]()
Now that you wrote it I’ll hold you to it ![]()
I’m gonna do an individual review of every piece of my collection. Dont know when the first one will be up, but I’ll make sure to post it ![]()
Now, this figure. SDCC 2011 Lion-O. What can I say… I’ve always wanted this one, but was not about to pay $100 for it. So I waited. Finally got one, mint & complete in an opened box, for $14. The wash or shading is terrible :roflmao But the stand, vac-metal Swords and metallic paint deco make him kinda cool, I think. Well worth the 5 year wait
And $14.

Very nice addition. I agree although I probably like the figure more than you:)
I also waited quite a while and added an unopened one in a slightly less than mint box for a good deal. It’s something I just had to have in my collection as well!
Wanted this from the first time I saw it and I got one for a very good price
I love the paint apps, although it could be better in some place. The hair could be a bit more cartoon accurate and the black-lined teeth a bit annoying
The “invisible” effect is very nice, the only thing I truly would have changed is the whip. It feels a bit dinky and small. But it still displays nicely!

Great pictures of the Lion-O and Tygra figures.
Very nice addition. Mezco sure is capable of some great work!
Agreed! I hope they continue this great line.. I would love Wilykit & Kat and Jaga to complete the original team. And ofcourse the Mutants. And Grune ![]()
I just shared your YouTube channel. ![]()
Got some items to show.. First up; I got this because I am quite surprised they release stuff like this. A lenticular postcard with the, now often used, modern looking Lion-O and a badge with the same Lion-O. Cost me $0.99. Pretty snazzy, 80’s style merch. ![]()

I also got a copy of Toys ‘n’ Playthings, a UK Toy Trade Journal from 1987. I got it because it has a segment dedicated to JotaStar, which briefly mentions their ThunderCats line and a nice image of said products.

And I found a cheap, loose, complete 6" BanDai Lion-O. I read negative reviews on this guy when he came out, but I have to say I think this is a fine figure of a ThunderCat (see what I did there?) The screws in the back dont bother me at all, the only gripe I have is that the extended Sword of Omens is a bit to big or long…

Great finds.
I’m digging that Jotastar inflatable bag and you know I’m a fan of the Bandai line! Cool additions!
You beat me to the trade magazine. I don’t feel to bad as it’s gone to a great collector. Mainly wanted it to put with my jotastar punch bag. Great collection my friend.
Haha, I just replied to your collection thread, saying how cool it is to see that Jotastar Bop Bag
Cheers!
