Daremonger · April 10, 2016, 5:32am

Awesome stuff!

ThunDerianRoyalGuard · April 13, 2016, 11:08am

Yes!

Also did the same to my other one from Star Comics #22, page 18 by Jose Delbo;

Indeed!

Correct, though the Star Comics page (above) has the lettering included in the drawings.

ThunDerianRoyalGuard · April 21, 2016, 8:12am

Got another ThunderCats/CosmoCats puzzle Love these, they are so vibrant and display very nicely!

Mark_M · April 21, 2016, 10:25am

What a beautiful piece.

adssse · April 21, 2016, 6:05pm

Cool! Oddly enough I don’t remember seeing any Thundercats puzzles as s kid.

Mark_M · April 21, 2016, 6:44pm

Yeah same here.

I mentioned these in the other thread, but since they arrived yesterday, I thought I’d post them here.. I scored four loose MezCo ThunderCats; Lion-O, Panthro and the SDCC 2-Pack Mumm-Ra’s for $53! I already had Lion-O and Panthro but at $13 each.. I was really stoked! And these are gorgeous figures:

And had this for a while, just now took a picture.. Really love these type of items

More to come!

adssse · April 27, 2016, 11:59pm

Count me as a fan of the Mezco figures as well, especially at that price!

thunderianroyalguard:

The next items is pretty special to me. A long time ago, in a gala.. no wait. A long time ago, when internet was just becomming a “thing”, and I was starting to become a serious collector, I saw this Collectors Case posted on a website. I though it was cool as heck. Something about that illustration resonated with me and just screamed “ThunderCats!”. I wanted it! But I never found one. Until 18 years later, aka two weeks ago, I spotted one. I felt like Ahab It is missing it’s handle but it was also very, very cheap, so I jumped on it and I love it!

I’ve always known that this is not an official ThunderCats item. Maybe it’s even from another obscure toyline. It was not uncommon for a third party company, in this case 1986 Baroco Enterprises.inc. Greenwich, ct., to make generic things like this to cash-in on the action figure boom of the 80’s. I do strongly believe it was intended/ marketed for [use with] the ThunderCats line. I think the illustration is pretty obvious and a couple years back I could finally put my finger on the 2 images I believe to have been the inspiration for this piece:

Hey ThunderianRoyalGuard! I might have some info on this case for you. Ive been lookin for it for quite sometime and had no idea you had it in your collection. Now, I may be wrong, but it looks to me like the Thundercats Display Case advertised in the 1986 Sears Christmas Catalog …

I might be wrong because I have never seen the case up close and have only been going by that tiny picture for years. But it looks pretty dead on to me. Or perhaps a bootleg of the case. Either way, that among the other items else you have added are great additions!! Your collection continue to be absolutely astonishing.

Wow, thanks for that, Cap! Thats definitly it! So it was at least marketed as a ThunderCats product, that’s awesome! I’ve been enjoying your new additions as well, buddy!

Finally took some new pictures; these miniatures are by Glasslite, Brazil.

I’ve moved to a new place recently and been busy getting my collection organized. I still have a couple of boxes to go and I want to display some more print-material, like douga’s and posters etc. I’m in no way finished, but slowly getting there Sorry for the lighting btw :whistle

Really happy to finally have a separate spot for most of my South American stuff..

Stay tuned for more
