In other words, we’re going to see more Thunderians even if we don’t see any other Thundercats.
It wouldn’t surprise me if there are at least a few hundred to a few thousand thunderians alive. It’s all dependant on the how big the population of Thundera was, how thorough the lizards were in their assault, if any thunderians were kept as slaves, and how many escaped into the wilds.
I’m thinking if there is going to be further seasons, it’ll be about reestablishing the kingdom of Thundera, freeing enslaved Thunderians, establishing diplomatic ties with other kingdoms, and permanently dealing with Mumm-Ra.
nods I would be very much surprised if we didn’t see any more Thunderians. Ambassadors to other lands, other little towns, slaves, and the other possibilities discussed above.

The Cat’s kingdom has been destroyed, they’re people enslaved, they’re being hunted by the Lizard army and Third Earth faces the most evil creature in the known universe Mumm-Ra…. I don’t think a nice trip to the beach is gonna take some stress off. Would Frodo and Samwise take a day at the beach? This is a big story and we have little time to tell it. Fan service is a luxury, we lucky to pick our spots to showcase glimmers of the past. If you really want to see Cheetara in a bikini, you’ll have to look for fan pics.

Yeah, I don’t think there has been any doubt about the thunderians going extinct. Why wouldn’t the lizards use them as slave labor if they are able to?
