Between her excessively flirting with Lion-O and being a bad@$$, she was absolutely epic.

Her “orders, my king?” moment showed what she could be like if we saw a scene with just her and Lion-O. I’m glad she’s being public with the whole relationship thing, too.
Not to sound mean but I know she likes Lion-o. She uses him. When she say this. “Your orders my King” in a flirt voice. That just wrong if it is true.
She kinda used him there, but that was it. It was a great plan, and she knew he’d agree, so she really didn’t use him. She was just trying to flirt and be serious at the same time.

The picture is an over-exaggeration. Lion-O is very much in love with her, but it will never cloud his judgement. If it did he would have let her get the stone. It didn’t seem like she tried to flirt with him then.
It was manipulative, but I don’t think it was a big contributor to Lion-O’s final decision.
Like someone already said, she tried to get him to listen to her about releasing the stone, but he refused to do something like that.
It’s not the most upstanding thing to do, but I don’t hold the flirting against her. It was manipulative, but as long as she doesn’t make it a habit I don’t see a problem.
I agree. I don’t see it as manipulative if Lion-O didn’t even have another idea of what to do. Her flirting, if it was solely for the purpose of persuasion (which I think she was flirting just to flirt as well), was futile because he was going to do what she said anyway.
True to say the least she did make a flirtatious and sarcastic tone with her break out plan, but I don’t think she could play him like a fiddle that easily. She’d have to be Emily Thorne first (and that means getting rid of the tough girl act until needed)
Going back to this post, we also need to keep in mind that in ‘The Pit’, Dobo mentioned that she was a soldier. If that’s actually the case, then of course she’ll put her people’s best interest first; because that’s a big part about being in any sort of military force - it takes courage, and the will to do whatever it takes to save your people - even if it means risking your life. (although in this case, I don’t think she was thinking of that last part as much)
Which is all well and good but she doesn’t consider the bigger picture there, if the Bird City falls to the ground there’s no telling where it could land, if it would break into pieces on the way down, and how the planet itself would react to having something that large just dropped on it. There is the very real possibility that the cat refugees could be wiped out in the process. When Lion-O says no he’s not just thinking about the Birds, he’s thinking of everyone including the cats. She claims he’s not willing to make the touch choices but he already has. The easy choice is just taking the stone and the hell with the consequences. The hard one is letting the birds keep it and possibly even staying behind to defend it and them from Mumm-Ra when he inevitably attacks. Her actions are not that of an ends-justify-the means knight templar type, but that of an angry and inexperienced young woman who can’t understand why the man she cares about isn’t supporting her when he had always done so in the past.
Which makes her more of a mercenary than a soldier.
She would be a mercenary if she was being paid to fight with no further motivation than the money. She just screwed up, that’s all.
She’s like an unpaid mercenary on a rampage then. And if she had taken the stone and Avista collapsed, then she’d see it as ‘collateral damage.’ Just my insight on her behaviour.
