I just had a thought regarding the episode (if there is one) that the Warrior Maidens appear in (if they even do).
I think a good title idea would be “Warrior Spirit” or “Maidens of the Trees”
What do ya think?
In regard to the Lion-O/Willa ship possibility, as many of you have already pointed out, Lion-O and Willa would both likely get called out by their followers for the mere fact that they have feelings for a creature outside their species.
I forsee Tygra saying something like “Lion-O, look at her, she’s not our kind”. But whatever the comment, i also forsee both Lion-O and Willa telling their subordinates that their love lives are none of their business
Which might be a problem for Lion-O , but Willa has always struck me as far more assertive. If her heart tells her it’s right she needs no more justification than “I’m the Queen, deal with it.”
Correction: “I’m the bloody Queen, deal with it.”
Lion-o/Human pairing…
You know I don’t understand the whole conflict between a Lion-o/Human woman pairing. Sure they’re cats but they are “Humanoid” cats which would make that sort of pairing more realistic. IMO
I remember reading that some of the posters here would very much like to see the Warrior Maidens in the NS, and frankly, i would probably like that too.
My only gripe is that if and when they make an appearance, i’m worried there might be a few sexist comments thrown in somewhere (that tends happen when a series shows a society dominated by women).
Plus, since the series is taking a more realistic tone (sometimes too much in my opinion), i would assume that this time, the Warrior Maidens would be the highest form of authority in their society, rather than just be nothing but women (that would beg the question: how do they reproduce?)
As far as this Lion-O/Willa romance theory goes, if it does happen, i foresee two kinks the relationship; 1.) Naturally, Lion-O’s going to be a bit hesitant to open his heart up again after having it broken once and ripped and stomped on another time. 2.) If Willa is Ms. Right for Lion-O, she might find herself conflicted about having feelings for a Cat (she may have a desire to bear children one day, and she knows Lion-O will never be able to provide her with any)

Exactly! The OS Cats were more human in stature! Except Grune, Pumm-Ra and those guards in ‘Return to Thundera.’
For some reason I’m picturing the Warrior Maidens to look more like the Amazon Coven ladies in Breaking Dawn http://twilightsaga.wikia.com/wiki/Amazon_Coven.
