I can see it now, Thundercats are in an Amazon Jungle. They discover a tribe of cats. Then, they are introduce to the warrior maidens. Then, all the male cats on the team go derp face.
Here’s what I thought of when the Warrior Maidens (my idea them being female cats mind you). Queen Thalestris brought 300 women to Alexander the Great in the hopes his seed would breed a race of children strong and intelligent as him. She even stayed with the guy for 13 days hoping he’d father her own daughter.
So what if, these female cats actually had some sort of deal with Leo and future Thunderian kings including Claudus to breed more Warrior Maiden cats to increase their numbers?
After they get their buts whooped of course. (with the exception of Kit and Cheetara - they would know all too well about feminine charm)
Or maybe as a last resort if all the females died out for some reason.
Well they have to increase their numbers somehow. And with Thundera gone, they lost the king.
That whole Thalestris thing was actually a part of the mythical Alexander Romance, not actual history. Besides, Tygra would get dumped if he let another (hawt) girl besides Cheetara near him. And I certainly don’t wanna see Lion-O turn into a harem-keeper.

My bad. But still, it should provide some explanation as to how the Warrior Maidens increase their numbers.
If Lion-O becomes king, they found their new breeding ground.
Especially if Willa is a cat.
Maybe they split multiple times like bacteria and viruses when they eat a certain kind of food…?

Look, what I mean is; amazons would go to men for more daughters if possible. Unless someone were to take a page from DC Comics.
Preferably the latter choice. Some dark toons have a limit that only Adult Swim can go to.

Definitely, or even they could have a Mother Goddess that they could pray to, who can convert the ashes of a dead Maiden into a newborn baby Maiden. A bit similar to the time-old phoenix legends.
Alright. That works better in keeping with the Fantasy theme.

Lets hope that they are not that type of Amazons.
For my own head canon, I imagined that the Warrior Maidens hooked up with the Berserkers every now and again, and sent the male children off to be pirates and kept the females for themselves, since we never saw any female Berserkers. If they showed up in the NS, something similar could work.
I don’t think the WMs would associate with the Berserkers. I mean they eat Unicorns and the WMs are tree huggers.
