The New New Thundera

As some of you may remember, the OS had its final episodes take place on the Thundercats’ recreated homeworld, Thundera (courtesy of Mumm-Ra of all people). All things considered, i can’t see why the new series wouldn’t try the same trick. Oh sure, maybe Mumm-Ra won’t have a hand in it this time, but it seems to me that at this point, rebuilding their empire is a definite must for the Thundercats.

My only concern is how they’ll do it. In the OS, the Thundercats basically went off to New Thundera and left everyone they knew on Third Earth (along with two of their own people). Mumm-Ra even followed them there.

So how will New Thundera be handled in this series?

Well since they did away with the whole “escaping a dying planet” deal I don’t think it would be that hard to re-found Thundera. All they really have to do is find the refugees that escaped, get the Berbils for their building skills, and go back to where Thundera was and reconstruct the city.

What he said. It wouldn’t be that hard, just that when Lion-O grows up; he’ll make new changes and promise a better tomorrow.

The hard part will be finding survivors and convincing them to return.

It will also be good for creating some interesting tales. :smiley:
